Congrats! My wife will be a MINI owner soon as well. Although she's getting the "old" one and I'm getting a new S (see my sig). Mine is in Production as well and is due to finish 5/1 (btw, I was told I was week 19 ). Maybe we'll be on the same boat!

 

Mine was completed on the 23rd and is "Awaiting Transport". The next ships leaving are not scheduled until the first week of May. Maybe we will all be on the same boat?? Where are yours headed?

You are lucky that your order got in so quickly. Mine was ordered on 3/27 and is only now in production. With the boat ride, I expect to finally see it the first week of June.

 

My MA told me the same thing. I hope to see mine around the same time as you. I got my first MINI very quickly as well - 5 weeks and 5 days.

Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Jiminni for directing me to this thread. Just realized I was putting the VIN in wrong and I found out that I made it onto the Faust and my car should be in NY around the 7th, and then it's a short trip down to MD.

 

How were you putting the VIN number in? Maybe I am doing it wrong too!! I have been putting it in the cargo ID spot.

 

Looks like I didn't do anything different today than I did yesterday. The only thing I would suggest is trying to use the wildcard '%' also for example:
WMWMF73509TT99%.

Did some checking and it looks like you are expecting your car to come into Charleston, SC. The tracker that everyone is familiar with is only for the WW shipping line. It looks like for cars going to Charleston they can be on either the Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WW) or K-Line America of KLTL Total Logistics (K-Line). So your car could be on the K-Line.

 

Hey there!!! Looks like Im a week 17 also. My Mini is on the Faust and is already on its way to Nova Scotia for the 5th of May. Then its a small train ride to Montreal

After dropping off the Canadian Mini's in Nova Scotia the Foust is on its way to the states where it is supposed to arrive on the 7th!

Looks like possibly me having my car before the projected date of the 31st of May by my M/A

 

It is so hard to know that she is sitting at the port!!! I am happy for those of you who got on the Faust. I wish it was going to Charleston so I could have been on too. Oh well!! If the Olympian Highway gets in on schedule on the 13th I should still take delivery by the end of May... Send pictures when you get them!

 

OK--Someone needs to show me how to add those cool emblems to my emails! My baby was completed yesterday, but there will not be a ship out to California until 5/8. If all goes well, I should see her the first week of June.

 

If your talking about the cute little faces to the messages.... when your writting your message there are all kinds of Smilies on the right hand side.

I feel for you having to wait! Can you imagine that I ordered my Mini on the 13th of April and it was at the Dock on the 24th and its already on the ship on its way to Canada!

I guess it helped that the car was already on order by my Mini Dealer.... They caught the order on time to change the roof color and the different options that I wanted in it.

Ive waited less than 1 Month and im ANXIOUS.... I just cant believe how long some of you guys and girls wait!!!!

Unfortunately for those outside of Canada unless you know how to make your IP look like it comes from Can. the videos will be region blocked.

You've caught the OCD tracking bug eh?

The worst part is once it gets unloaded and gets picked up by CN Rail you will not have the ability to track it. CN does not offer tracking to the general public you need a business account with them .

BMW Canada usues Hansen's to carry their cars from the railyard to the dealer. Well at least I know they do in Ontario and Alberta, I'm not sure about Québec. Your MA should be abe to confirm if they use them. I'd bet they do though as Hansen's does have a Montreal location. http://www.lhf.com/hansens/index2.php Once they pick it up at the rail yard you can once again track you MINI on it's journey using that link.

Hopefully your train trip will be faster than mine. It took almost as long to get to Toronto from Halifax as it did to cross the Atlantic.

She is supposed to arrive on the 5th of May in Halifax, but from the looks of it I think she had the wind in her back all the way...... Perhaps Faust might even be early?!?!



I just checked the Port of Halifax website and they still have her to be arriving on the 5th of May

I think mine got on the Olympian Highway today! I am looking forward to confirmation on that. It was so fun watching it leave the port... My kids are making fun of me for spending two hours watching a green circle move! Getting into Charleston on the 13th of May.

 

Don't feel bad my wife laughed at me last night for watching the little arrow that was The Faust leaving Halifax, NS. I'm starting to jones now because I can't track her, no updates on sailwx. The Faust is somewhere off the coast of New England but she's due in NY/NJ tomorrow

 

It is so nice to know I am not the only person watching green dots and arrows!! I did get on the Olympian Highway! I got confirmation last night. It is so funny, I was upset that I missed the Courage... it left on the 24th of April. Turns out it gets into Charleston the day after mine! When do you expect to take delivery?

 

Looks like the Faust will be in NY/NJ on the 7th, then a couple of days at the VDC and a short trip down to Towson, MD. Hopefully take delivery between the 18th and 20th. Not bad since I ordered on April the 11th.

 

That's great I wonder how long mine will take at the VDC in Charleston. My MA said about 10 days after it comes in they should have her at the dealer!
