Greetings from the Week 23, 2009 Support Group!

I just had to chime in about the continued 1.9 APR Program. I'm extremely happy about this! They tried get me to purchase a car off the lot just to take advantage of the low rates. Kinda felt like he was threatening me with a high rate when my order arrived if I didn't buy off the lot. Hopefully they honor this program when my MINI arrives stateside in late June.

BTW, congrats to all you Week 19 motorers. See you on the road in a few weeks....

 

Great news on the financing!

Now the next question. What are they doing to the cars that requires a day to "get them ready". I'd hate to find out it takes a day to pull out all the packing they put in the car and give it a bath (which I'm sure I'll have to fix the spiderweb scratching they'll put in the paint anyway).

 

they better not to my car its to expensive to do that to.

Hey, your car is pretty sweet mate! Besides, you have to love that Midnight Black huh? The dealer had a MB convertible in the show room, I wasn't sure if I was going to like the color, but I was pleasantly surprised! It's a fantastic color!

And yes, I'm OCD about my car, I'll probably be in my garage tomorrow night with the halogen light determining the level of polishing I'll need to do this weekend.

Lol to be honest they had no cars even at my dealer in midnight black so I'm going all on pics but I'm sure ill love it!

I love the stripes! Check out this website too... aestheticcreations.com ? I think that is is. You may need to search aesthetic creations on google if I got it wrong. That is where I got my stripes. The guy Mike is AWESOME and they have some REALLY unique stripes. I do love the ones you sent! He did my hibiscus flower stripes. They have checkered ones too.

 

Yeah who else is going to have square stripes....even saying it it sounds like something weird.

 

that is neat. I've been driving a boring beige subaru forester for so long....*cry*. Its like, people EXPECT to be able to cut in front of me, as if I'm there to simply hold up traffic for them to squeeze in. Not that I mind letting people in, its just that..its kind of insulting for people to EXPECT you to just because you drive a big clunky beige thing. hehe.

No way! that is stupid I don't see why you have to wait for your MA I'm pretty sure that my MA has the SAME days off as me so there is not a way for me to get mine unless he comes in on his day off OR I'm going to buy it without him there.

Ok back from the dealership, I took a ninja look at my car. She's sitting ready to be cleaned up and have all the packing removed.

ok now the owner's lounge says my estimated delivery 6/3. That would be tomorrow..but again, its an estimate, and I'm not expecting a call saying come on down.

Thats the third time its changed in less than a week, always to a sooner date. What updates that, I wonder...

oh yeah: and I waved at a MINI today from my Suby Forester. I got a funny smiley look back but no wave...hehehehe.
