My owner's lounge page shows my car still at the VDC. Wonder if my car has a Doppelgänger at the VDC? . It seems the webpage is several days behind the "actual" schedule.

My MA called today at noon to let me know my car was in and would be available tomorrow. I'd give em a call and find out where your car is mate, you'd think they wanted to sell you a car or something .. oh ya .. they are selling you a car ... BTW what dealership are you dealing with? Seems like they're kinda lame with keeping you in the loop on your car.

 

ok I'm feeling very very stupid.

On my cell phone is a message left at 4:30pm today (it is 10:30pm now) from my MA (George Gregory, good guy I like him) at NWMINI in Tacoma.

"Mondo" (named after my coffee stand favorite latte drink, not the 'Mondo Mini' seen here on the forums will be ready for pickup Friday and I'm supposed to call him back on his cell and tell him whether I want chrome rally lights with white covers or black rally lights with black covers.

Oh, decisions, decisions.

 

Man I bet Friday can't come quick enough huh? I'm looking forward to the trip up to the dealer to pick up my car tomorrow. I already have the camera on the charger, and I'm figuring out what songs to put on the iPhone for the trip home .. hum .. Back In Black has to be in there somewhere.

thanks- I had them ordered already or I'd have waited and gotten the discount with PSMINI motoring group up here...ohwell. The MA is doing the wheel and tire install swap for nothing and I really appreciate that. I love your MINIs as much as the one I picked out...all amazing machines. Much respect to you guys.

I'm looking for a pic of a chrome side mirror with chrome rallys. Can't find one just yet..think I prefer chrome with the side mirrors but I'm not crazy about the white covers..though I'd probably have the covers off most of the time.

Anyway...just can't sleep now....jeeez. check your phone nico. lol. Must have been great to see your car today...with the packaging and all, that is so cool...

Oh no my M.A. never called me and told me im hoping for later today or tomorrow for it to be there I have no dealer installed options, so just unload the car ill take it with plastic still on if I have to! If it isn't ready on Thursday ill have to wait till next Thursday which I dont want to do

I am going to have a hard time sleeping tonight before picking up "Bella" tomorrow. Jumping in late here as a Week 19'er. I made the mistake of test-driving the Clubman in March, and really liked it. Altho my family thinks I'm nuts, I odered a Clubman S the third week of April - it completed production 7 May, shipped out on K-Line MICHIGAN HIGHWAY on 15 May, arrived Charleston 28 May, went thro the Charleston VDC this last weekend, and is due in to the dealership today. Will take delivery prob Saturday, and will trade in my super MCS #1. My Clubman is PW/B with black JCW airscoop, black bonnet stripes and matching tail stripes. Convenience/Cold/Premium packages, LSD, Chrome line+piano blk+ blue line, blk lounge leath seats, MINI HiFi w/HD radio, Xenon HL, black JCW airscoop, rear spoiler - in essence, a lot like my MCS - which I love.

 

I will have blue color line/piano black inside as well--I have never seen it in person, so am hoping it looks good

 

I FINALLY GOT CALLED, my pick up is set for tomorrow! Cant wait, and my MA goes no problem I'll come in for you im not gonna have you wait a week its been like 7 already I was like sweet!

 

SWEET!!!!!!!!!! Yeahaaay!!!!

 

Now I feel bad you have to wait longer....

 

Oh yeah something I forgot to say I asked my MA if the tow hooks that were on the cars when they got to port come with the car, he goes only the one for the back does...how do you know about those? I was like I just have a hunch...and a picture of my car from the port? He was like whattttttttt lol
