Hello..just joined in.. i'm a big fan of MINI.. i learned how to drive in the old school mini sw bright yellow that my grandfather used to drive back in the day.. Since i miss it and drove my friends cooper s cv.. i'm really looking to get into a mini.. great site with a wealth of info..

Welcome! Yeah, MINIs are very cool...it's amazing other car makers don't pick up on what really makes a MINI great. Seems all they think is that it is just cute!!

 

You will find a lot of good information and honest venders on this site. I myself only purchase from NAM advertized venders. I live near Daytona Beach so I'm a Florida person too. My Mini dealer is Downtown Mini in Orlando.

How do you like their service? Did you purchase your car from them? If not, do they give you a loaner when you take it in?

 

So far I really like the service and people at Downtown Mini. I did buy my car from them as well as a few parts. I have not needed service yet and hope I don't need anything other then the normal service stuff such as oil changes etc. I have a 2009 JCW and they handled the re-call on the brake discs promptly and checked my exhaust tips while I had my coffee and waited. It only took about 1/2 hour. They even asked if I needed anything else takin care of while I was there. I'm very pleased with them.
I purchased some items from Nam supporting venders and the service was fast and with no problems at all.
