Congrats...you look "appropriately" excited. Really, is there anything that tops MINI delivery day??? I think not. The anticipation of motoring, the personal configurating, the wait....it all adds up to some seriously good times. And then there is that euphoric first few days of motoring!!!! Ah, bliss!!!!
I'd expect that over the next few weeks/months, your MINI will drill it's way into your mind in such a way that you two will become best friends. It's the motoring that does it...and the subtle dialogue between driver and car. Magic!!!

Great looking car, guyver!! Trust me, we're ALL excited for you - we all remember when we got ours just through the look on your face. Congrats! I hope you find an appropriate local motoring club, and find out how much BIGGER that grin can get.

Met my first fellow Mini driver today! Had just got done eating and heading back to my Mini in the parking lot. Saw an older gentleman and I think his daughter was looking at my car. Chit chatted for a good 15 minutes or so. they had an 08 Mini themselves. Mini people sure are friendly!

Keep it up - and seriously, look up some of your local clubs. Clubs are a lot of fun, and they've usually got some great suggestions for getting your MINI going on the twisties!
