Hi All..Expecting Mini Owner from Chicago
Hi Everyone,
It's with both happiness & sadness that I'm a soon to be Mini Clubman S owner. I'm happy because I can't wait for my new car to arrive and sad because my decision to buy was hastened by my 2004 BMW 545i needing a $5K repair and I didn't want to sink $5K into a car with 100K miles.
I knew the Mini would be my next car, I just didn't think it would be this soon. The order was placed this past Monday and my dealer was able to get it on a priority list so it should start production late this week or early next week for a mid-Oct delivery (so they say).
2009 MCCS Details:
- Hot Chocolate w/blk roof & pillars
- Black Bonnet Stripes
- Prem, Conv & Cold Weather packages
- 6 speed Getrag Manual Trans
- Sports Suspension
- LSD
- Xenon Lights
- 17" 5-Star Pace rims w/All Seasons
- Hot Choc Leather/Cream White Color Line/English Oak
- Chrome Line Interior
- Alarm
- MFSW
- Hi-Fi Sound
The wait is going to be hardest part, but I am excited. Anyway, it's great to be part of the Mini community.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I'm anxiously awaiting my MCCS as I try to read the wealth of information on this site.
I was just informed today by my sales person that my Mini is scheduled to be completed on Sept 16th. Ask Mini also confirms that date. If that date holds I'm hope for a early to mid Oct delivery... Could be wishful thinking on my part.
