My MA in Tacoma said that next year (2009) a new MINI dealer would be established in Seattle (on Lake City). Has anyone else been told this or know of this?

Had my little one in for warranty service last Wednesday in Tacoma and was told it was to be Lynnwood in 2009. But another source told me Lake City. I'll take either as it will cut 100 miles off my 'round trip.

 

Im actually looking forward to a new MINI dealership in Seattle. The current dealership in Fife is not appealing to me at all. The arrogance of some staff is a total turn off that I refuse to spend any money there. I bought my MINI out of state and saved enough money to fund my trip to pick it up and spend two weeks vacationing and driving it back to Seattle. The new MINI dealership will get all my service in the future. Ive heard that the new MINI dealership will be a part of Seattle BMW Dealership.

 

I was also told the dealer will be north of Seattle and will be owned by the same owners of NW MINI.

 

That would make sense to then have one north and south of Seattle. They didnt say anything about it when I was in there, but then I didnt ask either.

The one in Fife would be more convenient for me anyway.

 

From PSMINI forum, looks like they will be in Seattle on Lake City Way where the Bill Pierre Chevy used to be (117th and Lake City Way). Sweet!

Supposedly by end of summer '09.

 

My MA also told me the the new dealership (part of NW Mini) will be in Lake City.
