I wish to thank everyone on this thread for the vast information that is available
I just wish that i would have found it sooner my baby was born 05/15 the mini lounge was helpful but the angst of anticipation was bad. but through this thread was able to find the ship and the schedule date of port arrival with a shout of glee that could have been heard in the next county
Now only the wait for the sea voyage, its in the Atlantic somewhere west of the UK heading for the canal then PHMPOA docking date 06/02
Baby not named yet but it's a....Cooper S Hardtop, British Racing Green, Black Top & Mirrors, White Racing Stripes Bonnet Top & Boot, Premium Pkg, Sport Pkg, Tecno with Nav Pkg, Sport Suspension, JCW Brace, will see if later need the JCW Tune Kit.

Sounds like a winner, a piece of dark green ribbon candy!
Check the Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics page every couple of days. Once the ship is back in range of land radar, you can continue to follow it to your port.

When it arrives be prepared to wait some more. It's kind of bitter sweet, the closer it is the harder the wait.

Additionally, if you know the ship and the ship's call sign you can track it on http://www.sailwx.info/... just put the call sign into their search box and click the Search button.

Now you tell me, it looks as though this could have been used even when "TEXAS" was out of radar range. It's good for hurricane tracking as well.Originally Posted by fatboy97

Still working on a name. I favour Jack or Jacko, which is how you might pronounce "JCW" (especially in Welsh), but the wife isn't convinced.

Really you should not have needed to download a program to follow your ship. You can even track it in Google Earth if you already have that and the ship's name.
As long as you downloaded Blm shipping from a trusted source and you found "Asian Vision" I guess that's all that matters. Have fun track'n.

Well.... where was it? We're counting down the days now. Hopefully it'll speed through customs and up to Seattle.

Ordered 5/18...will update on process...eagerly awaiting a 2012 hardtop S, lightning blue metallic with black roof, bonnet stripes, and light housings...and silver wheels. @_@

The owners lounge still says that my car is en route, even though it's been at the VDC for 2 days now. The owners lounge was a great idea, but has proven to be fairly useless. Maybe it was better in the beginning and they've let it deteriorate, not sure. This site is FAR more useful, maybe MINI should point new buyers here instead of the owners lounge.

I ordered my MCS on 5/18, too! When I called ASKMINI this morning (I'm fine with the automated part), they said that mine had been released for transit and was awaiting transportation to the port. What about yours?Originally Posted by tine512

Did you contact Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics or K-Line, if your going to New York I would think Wallenius Wilhelmsen. Try putting your VIN in the right hand Cargo Box https://att.2wglobal.com/gstattweb/o...uickSearchPage and see if it comes up.Originally Posted by m10009ets

Check out this link to an updated pdf. manifest for K-Line. You may be able to figure out the ship your MINI is on. Ship name, shipping date etc. could be helpful but look for port of departure (Southhampton) and your port of entry.

I feel your pain m10009ets, mine has been at the port awaiting a vessel since May 24th. I check the OL and WW tracking page daily with no luck. WW keeps telling me "No Record Found" when I enter my VIN.

This is just off the cuff but you can put in just the first 4 letters in the VIN and it will give a list of VIN's starting with those letters. Might help.
There are a lot of them marked as Received at Terminal and Loaded on Vessel from the Southhampton shipyard.
