I thought I was going to make the Asian King as well, I'm on the next vessel, the Florida Hwy.

Port is actually in Newark, NJ. It unloads & travels to the NJ VDC. if all is well it should be out in 2 days, wkends aside, figure 1 day to dealership & they they do the PDI, so add another day. I would think 4-5 biz days from port to dealer.
Congrats!

Florida HWY?
Is that a W&W ship?
I don't see it on their North "America/Europe Inbound Service Schedule"

Okay, I found the Florida Highway. It left Bremerhaven on the 13th and is headed for Newark.

I wonder if something happened to the Don Juan, which is still sitting in Bremerhaven, and the Florida Hwy took its place.

The Don Juan was scheduled to leave on the 13, but now supposed to leave today. The Fla Hwy isn't a W&W ship so it doesn't show up on their sched.

Yeah, it was very weird, the FL Hwy doesnt track & isnt listed as a ship on some of the linked site. But when googled, it shows up & the info appeared here. http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/shi...mmsi=372805000

It's supposed to arrive this wkend in NJ, I guess the VDC (Vehicle Distribution Center) should rcv this on Monday, I'm hoping the dealer rcvs. this by the end of the wk so I can take delivery by the 2nd. (apply Take Down Cert.)
*(PDI is Pre Delivery Inspection) bascially everything is gone over very thoroughly at the VDC, then the actual dealerships does the PDI. This is things like state inspections, front plates, tire pressures, fluids, paperwork & other details... & likely any other added dealer accesories, like mats, etc.

Your . key seems to be sticking.

VDC Vehicle distribution center. When the MINI is taken when it gets off the ship. Its inspected and may have some options added.

PDI, I'd guess is pre delivery inspection, what he dealer does before delivery.

Does anyone know how to track a second Mini in the Owner's Lounge? I have an 03 MC and we are adding a Countryman (ordered 6/21/12). However, when I log into the OL I do not get the "Track your Mini" option. I tried adding a vehicle using the production number which was a bit of a pain b/c it asks for date of receipt, actual mileage, and current mileage. I just put in the date of order, "0", and "0". Then it did identify the Light White 2012 Countryman we'd ordered but I STILL can't figure out how to track it. Help from any second Mini people please?!?

Don't log in, instead create a new account with the new order number.
I could be wrong but I think a login is tied to 1 number.

Thanks! That worked like a charm! I don't know why it had to be so complicated but am happy to be able to see the new one's status!

Bought my Mini 4 years ago. After 4 years of usage had to change trnasmision, coilovers, brake cylinder and air conditioner was surprised by the quality of the cars that costed me almost 42G's in Canada. Everything was covered by warranty but anyways - not the best thing to have Mini and to drive Dodge because Mini is at the dealers shop. What do you think - is this something other users experienced. Detailed pictures of parts replaced on my Mini is up on www.4Drive.ca - this is our small Canadian network of Mini tuners and mini enthusiasts.

Just try to stay under 4000 rpm for about 1200-3000 miles.
It wear hardens various parts, mainly the piston rings. It's best to vary your speed eventually leading up to full power over time.

PS. It's not going to be easy due to how much fun these MINI's are to drive, good luck!

Sorry Ramzes, I don't want to jinx it, but my '03 MC has >160K miles on her and the only thing I've had to do (other than oil changes, filters, and new tires) was replace 1 fuse and 1 window gear motor. That's really the reason we went ahead and ordered a Countryman to replace our Honda CR-V, b/c the MC has been such a low-maintenance car. But now that I've tempted Fate, I am expecting an epic fail! (hopefully not...)

Top left hand corner is the Mini selection tab. You select the one you want and than you can track it-

Very good information - well written - could not get one of the AIS links to work, but enough other things to check.
Great Job!

Not true. My MA told me to create a new account as well. But I was able to add my new CM into the My Mini section of the ol by its production number.
