On MINI owerns lounge it still states mine is still in production! I can't find her anywhere. I so sad!

 

Have you tried 1-866 ASK MINI (866.275.6464)? You'll get status before it shows up on the web. As of this morning the status of my 2009 JCW: "In the paint shop, scheduled for completion on June 9th."

Also, if you talk to a real person instead of the automated guy on Ask MINI you can find out much more detailed information.

 

FINALLY!!!! I started production today! Scheduled for completion on the 12th! I should make the Fedora!!!! I'm so glad we're finally getting things rollin!!

Hey guys I just learned that my MCS is at the port and waiting departure for the US!!! HOWEVER i would like to find out on what ship it is on...?
I know the port that it is comming in it is the charleston port and production finished on thurs.... ANY HELP IS MUCH APPRECIATED THANKS!!!

 

Ok so i finally had time today to call but no human available. But the automatied guy said it was released for transportation for port!

Yeah- at least I found her, now did she make in on the Patriot???

 

Congratz on finding her... I think she needs to be in at least a day before the ship leaves. Mine arrives the same day the Fideletto and didn't make it on and got bumped back to the next ship.

yay Nugget finally finished polishing herself up, If she doesn't make it on board Altoid will be very upset, but will be looking forward to her arrival haha.

by the way, keep checking the W&W site, it took Altoid a while to show up as on board, and it showed up before the OL or MINIUSA computer guy said that it was finished production.

I keep looking on the W&W site and it just comes up with no information found...
But then of course, she is a very very smart girl and she might find a port hole to sneek into. I'm not loosing faith yet...
if not Altoid and Nugget will have to meet in another way!

 

Dear All W23ers,

My MCS is somewhere between completed (yesterday) and arriving at the port for shipment. Nothing shows up yet on the W&W site when I enter my VIN.

When I started researching options for ordering a MINI I scoured the NAM site for reliable technical information. I kept running into “Week XX Support Group” threads filled with desperate people commiserating about their beloved little cars. I vowed to order my MINI and avoid such anxiety. And then I discovered the “tracking your MINI thread” (which I read because I thought it had to do with performance driving and the “track”). What started as simple curiosity evolved into an addiction to find out what has happened to all of the cars and the people on the W23 thread. I can’t get work done anymore. Every time I get a NAM “reply to the W23 thread” I drop what I’m doing to find out who had a baby or when it will arrive at its new home. This really is a support group, as evidenced by this effusive missive.

Best of luck to all of you and I hope to pass you on the road & wave. Now where the hell is my MINI!?!

+1 on that. To be honest when i was lurking, i thought all these threads were a bit insane. Then after I ordered and started (late) tracking progress, I saw the light, and I ran down the tunnel towards it.


If you can't find your VIN on the WW site, then (maybe) you are on a K-Line ship?
As far as the patriot, maybe you can get the booking number or something from someone in the thread as search through the VINs

 

how can i see what ship was assingned to my mcs whats the website for the W&W company were i can actaully plug in my VIN?

Found some info for those of you here and W22 who can't find their VINs on the WW site.

Someone posted a schedule of ship for Southampton, but I can't find it to confirm if Coral Leader came into port or not. But if it did come into Southampton for a pick up, it's due to arrive PH two days after Rigoletto.

 

gem....Altoid let me know through telekinesis that he can't find Nugget anywhere on board.... did she not make it?

Patriot left the dock right on time, and has now left the Southampton port area and is heading for open oceans.
