According to the Southampton Shipping Movements Webpage, Patriot and Sierra Nevada have departed. That leaves the Mignon arriving on the 10th and the Asian Chorus arriving on the 11th. Mignon goes to Halifax, NY, Baltimore, Georgia and Sierra goes to Balt and Charleston, Port Hueneme. I'm betting most of us in week 23 will be leaving on one of them.

 

For those of you who can't find your VIN, here's the Booking Number: GBSOU649748 for the Asian Chorus
you can try and search for your VIN (only 40 as of this post) in the list, i dont know if it'll work, but who knows.

Sadly, i have a * (Cargo is in Waitlist Status) next to my VIN. Hopefully , I don't get bumped again. But I did notice i have a Port of Origin filled in now, whereas before it was blank.

But I wonder, since im on the first page of VINs, does that mean she goes on first and last off the boat?
and last through VDC?

Where do you see that the Patriot has departed? Last I heard was it was arriving and leaving tomorrow. Are we wrong?

I just send an email to my MA to see is she knew anything more about Nugget and this is her response-

"I cant believe it- Nugget is already built and on its way to our final processing center. It will be here within weeks, mere week!!!!! Once it gets to the VPC I will let you know"

where is the final Processing Center? is that still at the plant? Does anyone think maybe during the final inspection they found something wrong?

 

well tell her to hurry up, Altoid will be lonely without Nugget, the cabin is too big for just one.

seriously- some one answer my questions (past posts) i'm really getting concerned over here and i need some reassuance!

 

I should hope to be wrong! Greater chance to load what's on the dock !!!

1) the port arrivals/departures show the date in a different format, e.g dd/mm/yy where 07/06/08 would be June 6th.
2) the time is ahead of the US about noon Southampton about 6 am CST,
so check it out and make your calculations...

The ro-ro's can carry 6,000 -8,000 cars, so... maybe....

I'd guess the VPC is still somewhere on the plant... they'd probably make sure all the components are right, fit and finish, computer has the correct things, the Nav DVD is in the drive, then test drive it on around some course.

You did use the Auto Cargo link right? May want to double check the VIN too..

 

Something's not right. I used the above booking number (GBSOU649748), then I took a VIN (WMWML33598TN67608) and did a search and it says no matches found, yet that VIN is loaded onto the Aisian Chorus.

What gives?

Plus, the above VIN is only two digits off from mine (it looks like it may be a later VIN than mine), and it's on a ship and mine can't be found.

Any way of knowing if I'm on a K-Line vessell?

Greg - I think there's some kind of lag, when i look up my VIN, it doesn't have a Cargo on waitlist * anywhere, nor does it have a Port Origination. On the booking sheet it has both. You might be better off on a K-Line, i saw some shots of the Asian Chorus and it looks pretty rusty to me.



No worries, i'm sure Nugget is fine.

rechecked and still no info, but there is tomorrow... as you i'm leaving to go eat dinner, before my husband really thinks i have totally lost it! i have been sitting here for so long I'm embarrassed to tell anyone! I apparently had no life before i ordered my MINI.

 

close... 07/06/08 is in the European date style.... there for it is June 7th not 6th. England is 5 hours ahead EST (8 hours ahead Central)...

therefore, if it is scheduled to depart June 7th at 8pm, it will be (in the USA) June 7th at 3pm (EST) in the afternoon.
