hey MINITrekkie! Any word on JD? What's the last 5 of the VIN. I'm going to MoD in a couple hours to pick up Bimini. I'll sneek around the lot and check all the lightning blue clubman's to see what's going on.

Well Galileo has made his maiden voyage up I-26...unfortunately he had to do it in the rain during rush hour traffic (ie, barely moving). It was still one heck of a sweet ride!!! We did get a little bit of speed going on an entrance ramp or two .
I will post pictures once the rain stops and I can get a few good ones...

I only saw one Lightning blue clubman in the main lot that surrounds the showroom and it was a black roof. You might be back in the prep area under the covered parking. Jeremy was constantly busy with people so I didn't have a chance to harrass him for you. Hope you didn't accidentally fall off the beer truck that was delivering us.
Bimini is home. My Intrepid is at MoD. Lori (wife) had a rough day and wasn't going to be able to make it home and then take me to MoD to pick up Bimini so I just drove down and left the old car on the lot. We'll go get the old girl tomorrow. Meanwhile our garage has TWO MINIs in it! WhaaHOO!

No I went with Westchester MINI. Picked it up today. All I can say is that all the test drives in the world can't prepare you for sitting behind YOUR very own MINI. I was smiling the whole way home. Our course it took me a couple of hours to get home because I took the loooooooooooooooooooooooooong way home. lol.

Same here...picked up my MINI yesterday - OMG
YES, it is freakin' awesome! . . . my jaw hurts from the all grinnin'
As I drove by the 1st MINI I saw near home, I waved and got a nice smile & wave back from the young lady motoring around
Will take a ride later this morning to get some shots to post. . .

My Mini now shows up on Owners Lounge as at VDC. No idea how long it will take to reach Atlanta. ASK-MINI had no further info and MA hasn't returned email w/ request for an update yet.
I'm in Atlanta today, and basically have decided I'm not going back to B'ham with the old Mini... going to sell it today, hopefully. I'll Priceline a rental car for a week if I have to.

I thought after picking mine up , I would be able to sleep. Now I wake up and start reading my manual.
Or dreaming and thinking of things I can add.
I just installed a grill badge holder. My wife catches me out in the garage with the whole front of the car apart . ( just the grill )

With a drill in my hand . She is aghast , " Jim , what the heck are you doing , you just got your mini and you are going to drill holes into it ? "
My response , Yeah , I cannot believe it myself but I cannot help myself.
whirr of drill popped to holes in the grill 15 minutes later badge holder installed.
Next night sleepless again . Go to Staples next morning get some Magnetic sheets for inkjet printer . Print out some badges I wanted.
My car now has the Mets logo on the front.
I need some sleep.
