Picked up my Clubman this afternoon . I'm very happy to have my baby home . I am so exhausted from the excitement, I've got to go to sleep now. I will post some pics after I come back from my trip next weekend. Yup, I'm taking my Clubman on a mini vacation with my husband and son. Leaving tomorrow.

 

I can't sleep! I'm picking up the MCS in about five hours.

Kind of bittersweet about selling the 03 MC this morning - it represented a little reward to myself during a very significant turning point in my life/career, and it has served me so well.

The new one kind of feels like an arranged marriage - you've heard the girl is really awesome but you've never even met her.

And the hard part about this arranged marriage thing is the 'break in'. You can't 'ride her hard' for the first several weeks. It's so hard not to want to just 'Jump on it'. I'm having to really restrain myself until she gets a little more 'experienced'. I so want to 'punch it'!

 

I hope so. The OL say ETA for delivery is june 1st that tomorrow? So maybe I can pickup on Tuesday and go to HH If no pickup I will see you there, First drinks on me

I already have some thoughts about things I like better and not quite as well as my old one... but I'll post those in the main forum.

I will say that I am VERY impressed with my gas mileage so far. 36 on the trip back from Atlanta and over 30 around town.

 

Congrats to everyone who got their MINI already! I can only look ahead to that day, sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night thinking of all the fun I'm have driving this little Big machine! It will be a blast, like the one you guys are having now.

I am picking up my MINI today! It's been at the dealer since Saturday and has been waiting for it's final "safety checks" which I hope do not mean, driving around the block hammering the brakes to see if the seat belts work.

 

SOUND GREAT THE ONLY SAFETY CHECKS IN CA. ARE, WILL YOUR MINI GET "SUNBURNED" AND IT KNOWS WHERE ALL THE "STARBUCKS ARE"
