Greetings all. This is post #1, although I have been lurking for a few weeks prior to order on 2/25. I called ASK-MINI today for the first time, as the curiosity has been building, to find out I'm in the paint shop today with an estimated completion on 3/5. That seems to put me in the week 10 support group. I'm sure I'll be seeing a lot of you in the weeks to come.

Welcome BF...wow you have jumped in the rankings. Molly will be completed tomorrow (3/05) as well. Next West Coast bound ship departs South Hampton 3/10, I'm not sure about East Coast bound since I'm in WA.

I have an estimated completion date of the 8th! as of today, I wonder if there is any chance for the west coast 10th boat??

My completion date was 3-3-08 and it got onto the boat on the 3-4-08. I have also noticed cases where cars have waited weeks to get on a boat. Anything is possible and it looks like I just got lucky!!

Just found out mine start production today so I guess I'm back in the week 10 group?

 

Best of luck to you... mine was built on 2/19 and scheduled to be on the Patriot that same day... it missed the ship and it is still on the docks waiting for a ride across the the pond... it looks like it should now arrive at Charleston on 3/22 via the Courage... here's hoping away!

 

when I think of my Mini there's a classic song that comes to mind :Otis Redding Sittin' on the dock by the bay ................. I am hoping to make it on the 10th. RJ Caulyne hopefully we will all be together.

 

Quite the PARTY that would be MINI ON!! Any idea how often MiniUSA updates?? I'm dying to call and see if Molly is all Pretty, Packed and Ready for her 3 Week Cruise across the Pond.

 

I CAVED!!! I just called "Molly" is in the Paint Shop with a completion Date of 3/06!!! I'm sure she will be ready and anxiously waiting to climb aboard the Trianon on Monday 3/10!!!

My MA thinks mine was born on 3-5 so I called ASK-MINI again today. They still say it was born on 3-4 (finished production) and arrived at the port yesterday. Even the automated voice says it is at the port now, but of course the web site just says "scheduled for production". If it is going on K-line it could go today, man I hope so, I wouldn't be able to track it across the ocean but that's fine if it gets him/her here sooner! If it goes on WW it looks like 3-10 or more likely 3-15. I will have to call ASK-MINI every day if I want to know what day it leaves the port.

Edit: My ship possibilities (K-Line schedule is kind of a pain, putting it here so I don't have to use their site again.)

I'm not even daring to hope that the ship on the 10th will happen.. but I wish it would!! At least I'll be traveling next week and not able to obsess too much...

Molly went through the Paint Shop yesterday Completed Production and this morning is "In Transit" to the PORT!!!

 

Otello left Southampton bound for Halifax on 3/06-today at 19:45 local time; which is 2:45 Eastern Time. More info can be found at southamptonvts.co.uk the port information center.

While at sea the Otello's course and position can be tracked at sail.wx.

wow just got home checked the mini website and very much to my surprise my mini left on the 4th on the toronto YIPPEE

 

My obsessive checking has paid off, hehe

Found on WW website, after checking on VIN for about the 3rd time today.

 

Remember that your car is now occupying a slot originally occupied by a car your dealer had ordered... so I'm sure it was booked tentatively when it was ordered... I'm curious, what Voyage Number do you have and when you click on it what information do you get?
