I'd guess the boat on the 20th, then three weeks to CA, then a couple days at the VDC, then off to the dealer.

Toronto departs 2008/03/04

The Toronto is scheduled to depart from Southampton on 2008/03/04, transiting the Panama Canal on the 15th, and arriving in Port Hueneme on the 28th!

And she's doing that with my Mini, and 178 others, from reviewing the booking number!

Oh, the Owner's Lounge still says "waiting for transport," so when you have your VIN, start looking at the logistics site to see which sailing you'll be on.

Cheers--

As I mentioned in another post, when the dealership places your order, they can place it under one of two codes: 112, which says to schedule it for production as soon as possible, or 115, which says to schedule for production but leave a few days in case the customer changes something. I'd discussed things with the MA (and the sales manager, who I spent most of the time working with), so mine went in as a 112.

(The 112/115 shows up on the Order Modification Confirmation Dealer screen during the order entry process. I got a printout of that screen, as it has the production number on it, the first time that number is assigned to you and your new car.)

And yes, I may have gotten lucky as well. But then I was planning on ordering this car last September...

Cheers--

Mine was scheduled to finish today... I called and they said it's in the paint shop. So I asked how much longer... (I'm in NY).. he said I should expect it the last week in March or first week in April.

jmatero--

I doubt if I'll see mine until first week of April at the earliest; our cars get the longer voyage through the Panama Canal, and a view of the Mexican Riviera coming up the West Coast, before docking in scenic Port Hueneme ( I drove through that area for years, going between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, and unless you're on the beach, it ain' that scenic!)

You'll be sitting in traffic before me!

K6RTM I ordered my MC OB/W on My Birthday, 2/19/08. Molly started production on 2/28 due for completion on 3/05, so I won't make the 4th sailing. Do you know what other schedules there are after the 4th?

There's a 10th and a 20th on the WW website.

Yup-- those are the dates I pulled off the site for Port Huemene.

My car is scheduled to finish on the 7th, so I'm not holding my breath for the 10th... Thinking the 20th...

I called today and 'Watson' is complete and awaiting release to carrier. I've seen a lot of references to the WW site and finding out which ship your baby is on but can anyone lay out the process for me? I guess I'd be an east coast port since I'm in Texas...

WOOHOO!! Looks like k6 and I are ship mates!!
Just checked the shipping site and my MINI has made it on to the TORONTO!! The tracking on it says it was booked on 2-29 and was "received at terminal" on 3-4. Which is confusing cause I thought the boat left on the 3rd??
Anyway the MINI Owner's Lounge says it its "Scheduled for Production". I better get to selling my truck!!

MiniEnvy have you done the VIN check to see if you are aboard Toronto or not??
If so, create an "ALLABOARD Toronto Post" that way your MINI can get to know the other MINIs it's Vacationing with for the next 3 weeks.

Happy Bday to my MINI today!

When I look up the scheduled boats for Southampton to Charleston SC on the WW site, most of them are marked "not accepting commercial bookings". I don't see any of those on the west coast schedule. (government/military contracted maybe?) Looks like my MINI won't be able to leave the port till 3-15. :(
