Long beach. I hope I get some good news this weekend.

 

Finally a target date! Saturday the 15th in Portland! Getting nervous now. I hope I ordered all the right things, but am worried about the tires. Only run-flats available on the "s". With 17" wheels, and the sport suspension, I wonder if I can eventually change them out as they are very expensive to replace. Anyone know?

 

Does anyone know if they install sport stripes at the dealer or at the VDC?? Just want to know if there might be a delay for stripes.

 

I just noticed in the Mini Lounge that if your car says its in the VDC view your "review order detail" and you'll see an estimated delivery date. Mine says, March 10

 

Maybe stripes do delay it a little. Mine doesn't have stripes or anything else to be installed and it seemed to zip through the VDC. When miniusa said it was at the VDC it showed an estimated delivery date of Mar 5, which was exactly the day it was delivered.

It sure isn't easy waiting until Saturday when I know it's sitting at the dealer!

Sport stripes are dealer from what I've heard.

My estimated delivery date is the 8th. I should probably contact the dealer soon...since I never actually mentioned what color stripes I wanted.

 

well i called my dealer and asked him when i should be receiving my car and he said sometime mid-next week. Now the question is should i pick it up during the week or wait til the weekend?? The reason I ask is cuz i wont be able to get to the dealership til about 6:00pm and I would really like to see it in the daylight, you know to inspect every inch of my car.

Also, I asked my dealer about the sport stripes and he said that they do that at the VDC, but I could've sworn when I first ordered it he said at the dealership. I wonder if my dealer really knows what he's talking about.

 

I delayed my pickup until the weekend so I could check it out in daylight.

 

Estimated Delivery Date listed on the OL Mini Order Tracking is 3/9/08.

I just got updated info from MINIUSA and it finally says "At Distribution Center" and estimated delivery date is "03/07/2008" but I have not heard from my MA yet ???

Per my MA (what does MA mean anyway?) my Mini should be @ the dealership 3/14, ready for pickup a few days later.

 

I am picking mine up at 4 today.

My MINI got the dealer this morning, but it has not been inspected yet. my MA said they have to program everything and make sure all the features work properly before making it available. So I will pick my MINI tomorrow morning

 

My Mini arrived today...should be getting it tomorrow!

 

My mini is home! Just got back from the dealer and an unresistable detour through the canyons on the way home. All I can say is.. It's a blast!
