I just got home from the dealership. I have officially ordered my new car! I'm very excited.

I know how excited you are! You're in the best "waiting room" you could be in here at NAM. It's crawling with people who know how you feel and don't look at you as if you've lost your mind when you talk obsessively about (INSERT YOUR MINI'S NAME HERE -- oh, yes, you will name your MINI... try and stop yourself... ). Read, read, read posts and look at MINI **** every spare minute! We all do...

Seriously, if you haven't already discovered how to track the progress of your MINI throughout the build, check out the forums for VERY specific information about becoming completely compulsive about knowing your baby's whereabouts.

MiniRee, I totally know what you mean about people looking at you like you've lost your mind when you talk about your MINI. My friends are already sick of hearing about it, and I just ordered yesterday! Heh. I already know I'm going to name my MINI. So far, I have Sherman for a boy and Helena for a girl. I'm not sure which it is yet. And, nice color choice for Ramona, by the way! I almost went with a black roof... I think black looks hot with the blue... but I wanted the white for the so. cal sun.

Yay for MINI-sibs! Are you on the west coast or east coast? I'm on the west, and my MA said hopefully I'll get mine by the end of March. It's gonna feel like a long wait, I think.

 

East coast ... MA said to expect around the middle of March. Trying to find things to do to keep my mind off things and hopefully make time go faster ... lol Very hard to get anything productive done right now.

 

Heh, I know what you mean... I've been lurking on the boards and checking the owners lounge all day. It hasn't updated to show my car yet. I know it takes awhile to update, so I'm not worried... I just want to see my car on there!

Your MINI sounds really great! I too like dialing in my options carefully and deliberately....you get a lot of MINI for a better price, I think. Very exciting!!
