Greetings from North Texas!

Hello To all,
I just got my first mini and was introduced to NAM. Already put 4K miles on her... smiling ear to ear. What a blast it is to drive.
Never had so much fun driving...

Pics are coming, I promise! Thanks to all, for the kind words. With the store open extra hours for the holidays, it's been hecktic. So I'm trying to get into the swing of things, especially my sanity!!!

Congrats! A mini would be ideal to motor Texas' nice smooth highways and huge empty parking lots.

They look smooth on the surface, but they are surprisingly rough and bouncy!

Welcome to NAM.

More info and pictures are always nice.

You have 4K on the MINI, when did you bring it home? I hope it has been more than a week?

Enjoy and drive safe.

North Texas.... welcome ! Boy, I drove across the panhandle of Texas a few years back. Came across the "Lazy R" ranch... drove for 45 minutes of nothing but pasture land and fields. Then it was the "Lazy T" ranch. Another hour of crops and cows. This went on for hours and hours.

Nothing out there but humungous, lazy ranches ! :impatient

Welcome to NAM, enjoy your MINI !!

Greetings back to you from Central Texas and Welcome to NAM! Congratulations on your first MINI.

I'm not sure what part of North Texas you're in, but if you are anywhere close to the DFW Metromess then you might want to check out your local MINI club - Metroplex MINI. Their website is http://www.metroplexmini.org/. They're a nice group of MINIacs.

I noticed you referred to your car as her, sooooo what's her name???? Please post some pics when you get a chance.

Heya Cliff! Not sure what yer calling North Texas, though I've heard Lubbock called that before (blasphemers! Lubbock is West Texas)

Glad to see you aboard, we need more minis over here on the high and dry side of the state. Flying to Dallas this weekend to pick up mine.

Anyone who calls Lubbock north Texas is obviously not from 'round here... Literal geography means nothing
