R56 Production Week 46 Support Group
I've been trying to telekinetically load my car onto a ship, but I don't think it's working so far. It's time to stop putting in my VIN on the WW site every five minutes and step away from the computer.
Maybe if I stop obsessing about it it'll actually get shipped.

Well, looks like I/we missed the Boheme. Rats! The next (trackable) ship to leave Southampton is the Liberty on the 17th. I'm keeping all of my crossable bits crossed that my car's going to be on it.
Well the car is in the paintshop. This will be my one call for the week.
They said assembly tomorrow so I would say Monday is when it should all be done and waiting to get sent to the port with everyone else.

My Coop was in the paintshop yesterday, should be in assembly today (haven't called yet
). We're nearly done and out the door, then it's weeks of tracking the little guy via ship info.
My mini is at the port!
I just called and found out that my mini finished production on time (11/13) and is now at the "port of exit". I hope that means it is ready to go on a ship. Now I just have to find out which one...and wait another month...ugh.
Do all the ships come into the east coast? Do some cars get trucked cross-country or do the ships also port on the west. I'm in San Diego, which is about as far from New York as you can get (as far as the continental US goes).
Waiting hurts.

Well, I just called ASK MINI and my car is now at the port. I already knew this, and in all actuality, my car is probably floating across the Atlantic by now since it was finished last Friday. And if it isn't... well it should be!

Your ship will be going through the Panama Canal
Where are you in the process??? Is your car at the port?
Are you getting anything on WW? You should have "received at port" when you run your VIN if you are going to be on a WW boat. If you're still getting nothing, you will probably be on a K-Line ship.
The next K-Line sails on 11/16 - the Western Highway
Most people have found that the OL is up to a week late in updating the status of your order.

Yes. The mysterious "other" shipper!
When people's VIN gets no results whatsoever on the WW site, they end up coming in on the "untrackable other shipper," which is K-Line. Here's a link to their shipping schedule:

Interesting little tid-bit I learned Re: K-Line's Western Highway. It holds (or It's hold - ha ha) 3900 cars! And there are other ships that hold nearly 3000 more cars! It's crazy.
Looking at the K-Line schedule, it seems I *just* missed the Frisia, it sailed the same day my car was finished (yes, I realize there's no way it would have made that boat, even if it had been finished the 8th)!

Woot, car is done, and waiting to board the MAERSK WIND which will be in Southampton on November 19th, then off to California (to arrive on December 10th).
Overall I'm surprised at how quickly the car has gone from a lump of metal to a fully fleshed out car. Anyway, now the long wait. . . yay.

Choose Auto Cargo, enter your VIN and then see what pops up. If you get nothing, your car isn't in their system yet. It also could mean that your car is being shipped through another carrier. In that case, your car will magically show up one day at your dealer!
I think I've found my fellow Atlantic voyagers. My MCS just left Southampton on the Liberty this morning and it looks like it's headed for Charleston, to arive on 1DEC. How long does it usually take to get from that point to the dealer? (I'm in TX.)
