1-866-ask-mini is still telling me my mini is in the paint shop with an estimated completion date of Nov 10th (yesterday). The Owner's Lounge hasn't been updated. I hope the little guy was born on time.

Nope. No one answers if I request customer service.

 

100% ditto for me for last weekend (just subtract 7 from your dates). Turned out my car wasn't actually built until the 5th (Monday) as opposed to the 3rd date I had been given all week leading up to the weekend.

I just checked the website and it says my car is awaiting transport, which jives pretty well with what the real person @ ASK MINI said on Friday. That said, I'm hoping it gets on the Boheme, but there's probably an equal chance it gets put on the Liberty. W&W doesn't have it in it's system yet though, so who knows. Maybe it's not traveling with them!

 

Here's hoping for the Boheme! From my time lurking on the Week 45 thread it seems like it takes awhile for your car to show up on the W&W site. Sometimes not until after the ship's set sail. Plus it's the weekend. So hopefully we'll show up on Monday or Tuesday.

 

It looks like I was a little luckier than you. The car was finished when they said it would be (the 10th), and is now awaiting transport!

 

Mine is still in production (late order) so that means you guys won't get on ship until mine is done so expect the liberty or otello

 

Great news; congrats! A build date of 11/3 or 11/5 didn't make too much of a difference for me, as I managed to get a spot on the 11/13 freightor headed to the west coast. We only get one freightor out each week (unlike the lucky east coasters), and with a 4-8 day delay between build date and availablity for shipping off the Southampton shore, those two extra days didn't slow me down in the least.

A few of us left over Week 45ers are on the Boheme. I had arrived in Southampton (11/8) one day before the ship sailed (Patriot-11/9) and that was apparently not enough time to get me loaded. So, since you arrived 2 days prior to the Boheme sailing, you should be good!

My car's been done since last Friday, so I'm gradually losing hope that it's going to be on a W&W ship. It hasn't even showed up in their system yet. The only hope that's left is the fact that the website still lists the car as Awating Transport. Boo!

I keep trying to tell myself that I don't *really* want the car here asap, that if it doesn't get to the dealership until after the 15th of December, it really is OK (and better for the monthly payment, too!)... but it doesn't work too well. I want my car!

I don't get why some cars are in the system and others are not.

 

I haven't been assigned a ship yet. I just called ask mini and they told me I'm awaiting transport. Who knows how long that'll be.
