Just a little update, i am on the Boheme. confirmed by my MA that it will be in port on the 23rd of november. he said it will probably be 4 or 5 days through the distibution center and arrive at the dealership, which would make it on the 28th. i have about a days worth of accessories being installed (29th). i hopes of scheduling my delivery at Keeler Mini Albany New York on December 1st!!!!!

Talked to the dealer

I asked the same question today. Was told the longest it would take would be a week from day at dock. This is including Ipod install and JCW stage 1.

Still looking for december 1 delivery after invisible bra and tint.

Is JCW Stage 1 the engine kit? If so, what's Stage 2?

I have aero kit paint/install at the port, then a few days at the dealer for JCW suspension, tuning kit, etc. Wow... maybe the end of the first week of December? That would be great!!

Now I just have to figure out how to attach my skis to her!

Engine kit

I got the engine kit with the air filter, exhaust and ECU map. Stage 2 is slated for release early next year I think as a factory option.

Aye, Stage 2 is the factory JCW option. There's some info about it on MotoringFile. Unfortunately it looks like you won't be able to upgrade a Stage 1 car to Stage 2; it's got to be put on when you order. Though I'm sure someone will find a way.

Note sure

The stage two uses the same airbox and a ecu tune. The other change is the turbo. They may upgrade you if you have the turbo installed and the software updated. There has been talk that they would be able to sell the air box alone so the stage two parts could possibly be the same.

I think the Boheme which hasn't landed yet is the first shipment for week 45 and you might be the first to get yours.

The patriot arrived in NY yesterday, so week 45 people may start taking delivery as early as this weekend!

My car is on its way to Charleston, so I am expecting delivery around the 1st.

We might take delivery Friday-Monday, as our MA has told us - Ray @ Towne Mini.

Our car was ordered Oct. 20th. Went into production the end of October, and then was completed Nov. 2 (estimated the 1st). Called and was told we were a week 45 car.

We missed the boat (Freedom) we were originally booked for (and there on time), and the UNDINE loaded, shipped, and docked last week Thursday (Nov. 15). Car is currently at the VDC, and our MA is hoping (well, we are) today (Nov. 21), but OL shows estimated delivery of Nov. 23, and he mentioned to expect Friday-Monday.

Haven't seen anyone that has taken delivery, but I am guessing they are just not posting. I only had sanchojoe discuss the on the boat, and that was his "old" car. 85 cars onboard, and we were the only two.

Maybe we will pass it on the Thruway tomorrow on our way to dinner.

Just received an email reply from my MA and he indicates it will be Friday or Saturday. "It has been released to the carrier, which takes 2-3 days to get to us."

So for us, that means Saturday, as I will be working during the day, and she will be working for the afternoon/evening. Early Saturday may work well though!

I guess we might just pass it on our trip east tomorrow.

Happy Thanksgiving all!!!

Yup Going4Speed, I was wondering the same thing too. I hope all goes well and our MINIs get offloaded safely and quickly, get seen to quickly at the VDC and them move on out toward our respective dealers. I am still hoping for a Dec 1 delivery. We will see I guess. Hubby and I are still trying to work out how we are getting to the dealership so that we can come back, both of us, in the MINI. Flying is more than $500, train takes 3 days. Hmmm...

If its coming into charleston you should be able to check the vessel schedule on the web page

http://www.port-of-charleston.com/

It seems to be down right now but it was working earlier this week. I found the Patriot on it and it seemd to be accurate based on other information from the shipping line

Where are you picking up

Minerva,

Where are you picking up your car? I am lucky I guess in that the dealer is 15 minutes from here.

My pick-up point is Roadshow Mini in Memphis. So Minerva will have a bit of a truck ride before she gets there. Then I have to get there somehow. Hubby is going to check with some of his students (college) to see if one of them would haul us up there for a tankfull of gas and a crisp $100 bill or so + a nice meal while there possibly.
