Who did you deal with??

 

Yep, I ordered my car from Global Imports. MINI says it's been at the port since last Tuesday. My MA says it'll be at the dealership by the end of the month, so I would guess it's on a boat now. I've tried to track it with no luck, maybe I'll give my MA another call...

How 'bout you, Global or South Atlanta?

Global. I went to both and test drove at both but just ultimately got a better vibe from Global.

It would be cool to be able to track it across the water, but no luck so far!

I never made it to South Atlanta. I got a great vibe from Global and my MA, so I just stuck with them. They are also much closer for me (I'm up near what used to be Lake Lanier). Hmm, maybe I'll see you when we're picking up our cars!!!

 

Originally, I spoke with Fred but when I went to the dealership he was busy. I ordered with Keith. So I don't know who my MA is.

Maybe we will meet at the pickup.

 

I actually ordered with Fred because Aka was out. I speak to Aka because I have been driving him crazy for well over a year now.

Aka seems to think the car will be on the first of decemberish

When do you expect to take delivery? We could have NAM roll out!!!

So I decided to try to subscribe to the final tracking web page listed in the "Track You MINI" post. http://aisfree.aislive.com. It seems to let me look at Europe and New Zealand but not the USA as the post suggests. Has anyone had more luck?

 

Apparently not. I am not in the WW system, and knowing that the OL is usually slow to update- it has been about a week late, consistently, for my MINI - and knowing that the K-Line's Frisia sailed almost a week ago, my best guess is that I am aboard the Frisia. It arrives in Charleston on the 22nd. Now the countdown until then!

So, is there anybody still in limbo out there?

I am gone for the day, sigh. My mother has decided we must have a garage sale, and I am required to price things for the day. Of course, I get the bulk of the proceeds, so... I can't complain too hard!!

 

Haven't tried... Honestly, hadn't noticed the link. I'd try today but am going to be gone. Rats. I hope you get it figured out though; that would be cool.

If that callsign shows her in China, either that ain't the callsign (an error at the WW site) or she does not report from at sea! The China data is from October...

 

Finally, I'm no longer in limbo! The OL status just changed to en route, but I'm not in the WW system either. My car will be coming though Charleston also, so my guess is that our cars are ship mates!

The OL has been a week slow for to update for me too, so the Frisia makes sense...

 

Yay, glad you are also out of limbo Kshark! Anybody else out there know/strongly suspect they are on the Frisia?

 

A NAM roll out would be sweet. OL says that my Mini is in route. Maybe it will be early December. Yay! My wife and I can't wait.

 

South Atlanta is actually closer to my house than Global but I am at the Chatahoochee river park every weekend walking the dogs so it will make it easier for scheduled maintainance. When you hear when you will be picking up post it and we can compare times.

 

OL just updated today or late last night. Really slow tracking system
