Didn't know about the blue lights in the inside??? Whats up with that? Is there any way I can turn them to amber?

 

if your talking about the mood lights, i believe they are one of the upper toggles. CONGRATS!!

Mood lights are (I think) the upper toggle, 2nd in from the right. A quick pull and release should give you purple, and a quick outward push gives orange. Holding the toggle lets you adjust anywhere in between. I just remember out for orange and pull for purple. . .

 

Great color; good looking car. Congrats! The lights inside can changed to a different color. If you have time read the thread " Everything you didn't know about your R56". It will be helpful, now that you have one to play with. ENJOY!

Thanks everybody! Im so glad I can change the mood lights...I think the blue reminds me of nissan....i just had a nissan so I didn't want anything to remind me of it.lol Im at work right now so the next time i get in my car i'll change them to orange/amber... also i have the checked standard dash/trim that i will be looking forward to swapping out with piano black hopefully. I need to run back up the the dealership and get a catelog of the things i can order. Does anybody know where online i can find interior parts? i had the car shipped from florida to oklahoma because they didn't have what i wanted on the lot which was no sunroof, i wanted bi xenons with automatic transmission. So i had to take what was availiable which was a pepper white. my gf has a 06 pepper white cooper...so thats two for us!

 

Hey, mine's going to be auto and no sunroof too! I felt I was the ONLY person in the world that did NOT want a sunroof! Yay, I am not alone!

The similarities are a little eerie though.... I currently drive a Nissan...

 

ha thats crazy! I never use the sunroof and i hate the sound it makes when you open it. My nissan maxima sunroof leaked...so i sure didn't want on on my mini. Its kool that we have the same taste!!!! What color did you get? I also want to put a black hood scoop on mine and that black jcw grill trim....

Mine is going to be Chili red and white. My current Nissan Altima is white, so I wanted something bold and bright- I had a devil of a time choosing between Chili Red and Lightning Blue. The trim pieces you are looking at will look sweet with the pepper white!

I think sunroofs are one of those things- if you ever had one that went bad, way bad, you never want another. I had a leaky pontiac once upon a time... and I rolled another car , so I do like a more solid feel to the roof . That is something I never want to repeat though, solid roof or not!

 

ha, funny how everybody who had a leaky sunroof votes no for one. I voted no real quick! But yea I want the piano black dash trim and black hood scoop. Im looking it up right now for prices... i like the grey/carbon black leatherette seats!
