Looks like you will be able to track Liberty as she crosses the pond. Call sign for her is WRYX and shows history on the sailwx.info site. Liberty is part of the ARRCNET.com line, another of the WW shipping lines. Have a safe voyage.

 

For those of you that may want to track her trek to Southampton using AISfree, she is presently located at the Vlissingen area of the map.

Liberty is docked at Southampton and now loading the Mini cargo, check the booking page on WW site and you can see what time your Mini's are loaded.

Use the link below and click on the green markers, Liberty is the top right one, will give you the current info about her.

This whole tracking thing is really just the coolest

Edit: just found out the Liberty itself was born in December of 1985 (http://e-ships.net/index/L5.shtml). thought it was a cool fact.

Just so you don't watch the wrong ship that is the Arabian Breeze and it is a WW ship at the Ocean dock berths 46/47. If you look to the left of her and in the distance you can see another ship Hoegh Trinity at berth 41. Liberty is at berth 46/47 on the Eastern dock which is to the left in the pic and out of the cam range.
If you check the Southampton web site there is a map of the port. Seems they are taking their time loading your Mini's, usually it takes 3 - 4 hours to load 3-4 hundred Mini's.

The WW site has updated and is showing Liberty as having departed the dock. Tracking sites are lagged and still showing her as moored.

 

Apparently, my MCS has now missed 2 ships. I actually talked to a person at ASKMINI today, and recieved no additional details, except that it was "unusual" for a Mini to miss two ships, especially as my car arrived a couple of days early for the last one. I was okay on the first one; this is depressing.

 

My Skeeter sat at the docks for almost a week, so ya it sucks but it does happen. Seems in the last several weeks waiting a week or even longer has happened more than I have seen in the 3 months of being involved with Mini tacking.
As for ASK MINI, they will be totally clueless once your Mini is at the port, so waste of time talking to them. Best bet is to contact your MA, they should have updated info and know more than anyone else.
Keep checking the WW site as it will be the most common shipper for your area, but it could also be on NYK or K lines, if so then it is really ratehr diffcult to track. Good luck and hope you know something soon.

 

Falsten, we're in the same boat as you (no pun intended..) We missed the Patriot and now it seems we haven't been loaded onto the Liberty. Our WW shipping status still shows:

So.. no update since 9-3 when we missed the Patriot...

 

Thanks for the info Tharkun. I'll probably call my MA Monday and see if they can find out what's going on. Mine's been sitting since the 29th of Aug, so it's a bit puzzling.

It is unusal to miss two ships, sorry for the fustration. Next WW ship will be the Otello arriving/departing Southampton on 9/12. Courious when you check your booking number, does it show the date that your Mini was actually booked for a ship. That date is usually weeks/months in advance of the actual productiont time.

 

No, the booking number didn't show anything like that. I ordered mine in mid-August, and it hit production within a couple of weeks. I pulled my VIN from the Mini Owner's Lounge as shown here on the NAM site, and checked for a ride with the WW guys. It was booked for the Patriot last week, and arrived two or three days prior to the Patriot loading. It showed as "waitlisted" for the Patriot. Then, after missing the Patriot, it showed as "returned to shipper", but with a new booking number which linked it to the Liberty's voyage today. It showed on the Liberty's booking list, but never transitioned to "loaded on vessel" today, as did the other vehicles showing on the list.

No change to the listing as of yet. I'll bet it gets a new booking Monday.

As I said, I'll call my MA and put them on the case. I just hope there is not an issue with the vehicle where it is needing a return to the factory or something.

 

Seems you have just had some bad luck with getting a ship, from what I have been able to find on the net the "waitlisted" and "returned to shipper" seems to be the way WW deals with re-scheduling Mini's for a differant ship.
Hope this is all it is for you and you make it on the next ship for sure.

 

Would be worth a try to see if he has any info, very well could be he will be as confused. Found some info about the WW lines on google a few days ago, it seems that in the past WW had phone/email support. But with Mini doing this online tracking for Mini owners, WW has ceased doing that because of the cost of adding the staff to handle the requests.

 

It looks like my BRG MCSa is on board the Liberty too!

I am in the same boat as Falsten, which is no boat at all. I was waitlisted fron ther patriot and now I do not appear to be on the liberty either. My wife and I are sharing her mini-van, this bites.
Found out this morning(sun 09/09) that i am now booked for the Courage to depart on 09/14. I arrived at port on 08/31, this shiiping company does not like me. I demand to see the unknown forces that are conspiring to prevent me from driving this car. You guys on the Liberty have a great trip
