Has anyone taken delivery on their MINIs yet? We're hoping for this Saturday!

Mine is on Western Highway which just docked today in Charleston. I was hoping for a Saturday delivery(my birthday), but looks like later next week would be more realistic.

I have a delivery date of Friday, October 12th. I would honesty believe this Saturday is pushing it considering the car needs to go though VDC and then trucked to your dealer. But it could happen. Best wishes to everyone in this final week of waiting! It's almost over.

Estimated Delivery Date ?

O.L. shows my Mini has reached VDC (I believe it came in on the Western Highway on 10/04/07). O.L. also shows an estimated delivery date of 10/08/07 (tomorrow). I have yet to hear from my M.A. When can I expect to be able to pick the car up? I have only a few simple dealer installed options (floor mats, valve stems & mud flaps).

Mine is at the dealer since saturday and the dealer scheduled the pickup on Monday.

I am glad I found this forum and I am grateful to the people here. I was able to track the car/ship online.

Great news and welcome! Post some pics of your week 37 mini. I should have mine by the end of the week too.

Apparently ours, and about 6 other Minis from our dealership are stuck at the VDC. Our MA is trying to get some answers, but so far, nothing. We're going on vacation for a week, so hopefully it will come in while we're gone.

Congratulations to everyone who has picked theirs up!

I am picking up my Mini tomorrow after work The windows are being tinted in the morning. I have also asked them to install mudflaps. Can't wait. It only took 5 1/2 weeks for delivery. It sure seemed longer. I hope every one else gets theirs shortly.

Picking up my baby tomorrow morning! In about 12 hours I'll be motoring! Total time from order to delivery... 44 days (although that is pretty quick, it seemed like 3-4 months!)

Duffer, you can't leave without posting pic's!

I picked up my Mini yesterday. So excited I forgot to post pictures. So here they are, I'll take some better ones once it warms up a little this weekend. Oh, and you can still see the blue plastic covering on the wheel caps and door sills. I removed it last night after I got home.

No problem. We had a great experience and all because of you! We also had a fantastic drive home. Of course, we took the long way which included a drive up the coast on PCH and a run through Topanga Canyon (lot's of twisties!) and into the Valley. From there we went to my Brother-in-Law's Auto shop (shameless plug: Fox's Tire and Auto in Northridge) to swap the R90-16's on. (They look fantastic by the way- latest pics coming soon) I now know why people say they can't get the grin off their face! What a blast it is to drive this car!

By the way, the next customer Amanda speaks of had to be in her sixties at least and bought a gorgeous AB/W MCS - an S! And me in my MC. My son will not let me live this down for a long time!

Some pictures of the latest addition to our family, Everyone's cars look great. I can't stop smiling. Mini of Dallas was a joy to work with, Jeremy De La Torre , my MA, was the best. It was by far the best automobile purchasing experience I have ever had.

P.S. I can't believe the gas mileage, its going to save me $80 a month on gas
