Both the OL and ASK MINI will not have ship info, and any info you may receive from a live person at ASK MINI is just a guess, most will inform you to contact your MA.
K-line does not show shipping infor online, so you need to contact your MA as he will be your best/only source for the name of a K-line ship.
Chances are if you have seen two WW ships depart Southampton you very well could be booked on the K-line.

 

Duffer, what is your status in the OL? Mine shows Awaiting Transport and it was completed on 9/13.

 

Duffer, you'll have to check with your MA to see if your onboard a K-Line ship. Mine is on the Western Highway which left Soutampton 9/21.

If 866-ASK-MINI or the OL shows enroute with an estimated delivery date of 10/04/07 (note: this is the day it's scheduled to arrive at port, not your dealer) you are on the Western Highway with me.

 

My cooper is also awaiting transport. Ask MINI states that it is at port awaiting a shipping vessel. I contacted my salesman which I assume is the "MA". I haven't found any info on it's completion date, but it was supposed to be 9/14.

 

Alas, my MA has confirmed that my MINI is stuck on the dock 10 days after production completion.

 

Well, it's probably parked right next to mine then. It's crazy how some completed after our's and are currently crossing the pond.

Freedom (WW) arrives SH 9/28 and the Puebla (K-line) arrives 9/29.

Atlantic weather rarely effects the RO/RO ships, with current weather reports available to the Captain, he is able to chage course and and avoid severe weather.
At the cost of a new ship at over $50 mil, and the cost of the cargo, they do not risk heading any where near nasty storms.

My status on ASK MINI has changed from "at the port awaiting a shipping vessel" to "in transit." Does this mean anything?

 

If I remember correctly your Mini has been at the dock like 12 days and your MA didn't have any info about being on a ship. It is "possible" you were boarded on a K-Line ship and info is just updating. Contact your MA and see if his sytem is showing any updates.

 

As soon as the OL shows "en route" it will give you an estimated delivery date (this is the port arrival date/not dealer). Post the date and we'll see if we can determine what K-Line ship you are on.

 

My MA is now telling me that my MINI was put on a ship in the last 2 days. I requested the name of the ship.

 

If that is correct that narrows it down to either the WW ship Integrity that departed SH on 9/22, or the K-Line ship Western Highway that departed SH on 9/21. There have been no ships that have departed in the last two days.

 

Do either or both of these ships go to the east coast? I'm expecting mine to come through Charleston?

 

Yep, Integrity docks Charleston on 10/6 and Western Highway on 10/4.

 

My MA has confirmed that my MINI is aboard the Western Highway.

 

Just found out my car was delivered to the dealer late last night and has already been serviced. Needs only gas and a wash.

Pickup tomorrow 0900 hrs, just 31 days after order...

BTW, was born/raised in PGH, a walk from Dormont Pool. Great town. I've long fantasized about returning and buying back the house I grew up in, it was that good...

So yeah, I'm a life-long Steelers fan, too.

 

I used to live 3 hours south of Pit in WV. I got the chance to go see TB and the whole team in training camp one year in the late 70's. Moved here to SoCal in '81 but stayed loyal.

I also hope to move back some day, as soon as my wife gets sick of me asking (read: pestering her almost everyday).
