Hello everyone... Just got word that my Mini will be out of production on September 9th... Sunday??? Anybody know what would be a good estimate for shipment date?

Should have started (according to MiniUsa.com last week), should be out of production Sep. 9th according to 1-866-ASK-MINI. I'm on the East Coast, Florida to be precise...

 

Your MINI will likley come though the Charleston port since the closest VDC to you is in South Carolina. Here are the next 2 scheduled WW ships from SOUTHAMPTON to CHARLESTON, SC

9/14 depart, 9/29 arrival - Courage
9/22 depart, 10/6 arrival - Integrity

Figure in 2-5 days at the VDC and then transit (via truck or rail) from SC to FL. My best guess would be 2nd week in October.

 

Just called "Ask Mini" and was told my Mini was completed on 9/8 - ?? She said no more update until it arrives at the dock to be shipped - she seem a litte unsure?? I will check again tomorrow -

 

Hi guys, I just ordered my MCS on Sep 4 last week. Been checking the my mini lounge with the order. Called ask mini the system said the car will be off the production line on Sept 11th. I have some newbie questions if anyone can help ^^; At the Mini Lounge order review I see every options except the Lounge Redwood seats. Should I call them to confirm with this? Also, anyone can estimate a date for arrival in the Bay Area? Thank you guys ^^

 

boat trip alone is 19/21 days, the a few at the port (VDC) then a truck ride up to the bay area. I would guess a month after it leave England??? but that is a Newbie guess only... as far as the build sheet - Call your MA, I have heard the OL is behind some...

No such luck. The previous ship left on 9/7 I believe.

Keep in mind this is the WW ship schedule and there is a chance you could end up on a K-Line ship (no tracking).

 

The WW site will not usually show a booking for your VIN # until 24-48 hours prior to the ship arriving at the port.

 

You could verify with your MA, but usually the upgraded leathers do not show on the OL site for some unkown reason. As for arrival time to the bay area from Southampton 4- 5 weeks is common, but things do happen and can be longer.

 

My MCS was completed today so I guess I'm a week 37 too. ASKMINI said they follow it to the port but then my dealer would know more than they do.

Is there an automated way to find out what ship it's on? I entered my VIN on the WW site but no luck.

I'm in the DC area - does anyone know whether my car comes in to NJ or SC?

If your Mini is week 37 , Call your MA or "Ask Mini" - your Mini should be finished and waiting for their ride to the US

Mine is week 37 and was completed on the 8th and is now waiting

 

Mine rolled out of the paint shop yesterday and was being finalized today. ASK MINI states it would be heading towards the docks later today. Next available WW ship (to S.C.) departs 9/14 - crossing my fingers I'll make it aboard.

For any that are not on the west coast and are not on a WW ship, the next K-Line ship will be the Frisia voyage V.147. Departs Southampton on 9/13 making Baltimore 9/25 and Charleston 9/27. (estimated dates at this time)
Since K-Line does not provide online tracking your only source of info will be your MA. Hope this is of some help.
