R56 Production Week 37 Support group
I am excited to report that I finally ordered my MINI yesterday (9/2) from Amanda at South Bay MINI. She was sooo nice and I had a very enjoyable experience. She even came in on her day off (holiday weekend) to take care of me and my family. Thanks Amanda!!!
Estimated delivery is the end of Oct/beginning of Nov. Anyone else like to join me in a little support of the insane?

Mine has not updated to my specs yet and still shows On Order. But then I just ordered two days ago and the OL is slow in getting the most current info. I keep having to remind my self to be patient. We'll see how that goes as time passes!:impatient

the owners lounge takes a while to update and it does not always update the full option list so if something is "missing" from your option list dont worry that is just a system issue... your MA should be able to send you a text shee that we use to order the cars and it will show your options on that! and your production number...

My MA provied the build sheet you speak of. I actully had to sign off on it to accept the car as ordered. My OL specs are 100% correct.
I just called ASK-MINI and asked for my production start date... She told me September 10, week 36. I said are you sure on week 36 as that should be this week, she put me on hold and came back and said yes, you're week 36 production. I don't know how seeing as September 10 is next week?!?

Just called "Ask Mini" was told that my car is in production and expected to be completed by next Monday?? Seems fast??? I will call again on Friday to confirm - anyone else got any update??

From researching on the Oxford factory, average production time for a Mini is three to five days, with approx 4,300 units being produced weekly.

I talked to live person this afternoon. The gentleman told me mine was scheduled for production and would complete the end of next week.

Maybe I am in week 36?
When I called ASK-MINI this morning the automated system stated I was in production, so I transfered to a live person and she said the car went into production this morning and was shceduled to be completed no later than 9/12/07.
Is your production week based on when the car starts production or when it's completed?

just called "ask Mini" and was told my car was in/going to the paint booth and was started work on 9/2 = should be done in a few days?? I do find it strange that cars are ordered here on very different days but have very different start dates... I ordered my Mini on 8/31 and it's born on 9/2 = I was told that EB Mini was fast??? As of now it looks correct - its still very eary in the "birth" anything can happen to slow things up... I am Not holding my breath...

Congrats! Mine is still "Scheduled for Production with no confirmed date yet". The OL did update with my specs though.

BTW - the other day when I was giving you the bad time about hogging the phone line... LOL, I was off on one number on the call LOL...... getting old

Just got an update: I'm in production with an estimated completion date of 9/13!!!
