Same here! Born on 8/29 and loaded on the Topeka.
Damn, I can't wait!

I think my Mini has been stolen. It was reased to transport a few days ago but never showed up at the Southhampton port which is about an hour and 20 minutes away from the Oxford plant according to Google Earth. ASK MINI is baffled.

pdoyle, check the WW site again tomorrow if it hasn't already shown up. They'll probably be loading the Liberty and may process yours then.

Good luck!

+1 to that and also you should know that Ask MINI can be quite delayed at times. According to it, my MINI was 'In transport' for 4-5 days which got me QUITE worried as well, but as it turns out it was actually at the port in only 2. If a live rep can't be of any assistance try contacting your MA as they usually get daily status updates on all MINI's ordered through the dealer.

Check the thread for Liberty, the booking numbers are posted and Liberty has departed the dock, so all Mini's are onboard and under way now.

WOOHOO, so got an email for my MA today saying that it's possible my MINI will be at the dealership as soon as next weekend, WOW! That'd be less then a month from when I ordered it... Seems a bit TOO soon though so I'm not gonna get my hopes up until it's released from the VDC.

Delivery time depends on your location in the US mainly.

I sure wish MINI could install a sport button on the AIDA.

Well my Mini has turned up at the port finally! 4 days to go from the plant to the port????? Unfortunately I missed the Patriot and then the Liberty. Next chance in another week is the Texas which will make multpile stops requiring 2 weeks to reach South Carolina. Oh well, it's only time.

It seems that once a Mini is out the factory doors, ASK MINI starts to loose track of it, they don't seem to be sure if it is wating for a train, on a train, or actually at the port. Now that you are at the port, keep in contact with your MA as they will know more than ASK MINI people. Lately they have been giving owners info that has been really way off, and more like just guessing.

Just curious, have any of you other week 35ers gotten an estimated delivery date from your respective MA's??? Mine is quoting a possible pickup of this coming weekend; meaning the entire process from ordering to delivery will have only taken 3 and a half weeks! I'm thinking too good to be true... Probably more like sometime next week, which still isn't AT ALL bad.

Well, if the stars are properly aligned, your MINI unloaded this AM, will zip through the VDC and get to your dealer Thursday or Friday. You could possibly be motoring Saturday evening!! Lucky Dog.

My MA is dead silent. It's kinda annoying and I suspect he doesn't "get it". Reminds me I need to email him not to drill any license plate holes in the front bumper or stick any stupid dealer adverts on my MINI.

Well lets hope the stars are aligned! Unfortunately the WW site is showing that all MINI's on the Patriot weren't unloaded until 7:18pm, but hopefully that won't cause any delay in the rest of the process. Assuming there was no damaged incurred during shipping and considering that I'm not getting anything installed at the VDC, how long do MINI's usually sit there? Hahaha, my MA hasn't been exactly forthcoming either, but I email him just about every other day so he's been humoring me.

Sheesh, 7PM????? I guess they had to tour the harbor or something. I think I heard or I am under the impression that VDC takes 2-3 days. I'd guess 2 days if they don't have to do anything 'extra'. My dealer seems to get their MINI's in batches of like 10 at a time. To me, that seems like if some of the other MINI's take a bit longer, you could get held up. Similar to when we waited for the ship, only on a smaller scale. Hopefully that's the last time you have to wait for stragglers. . . I suppose in those circumstances, it's good to live in a city with high MINI demand.

Do they go the entire way to the dealer via truck?

Yea, I'm surprised by it as well; I'm guessing there was no room at the port for awhile... But wow, 2-3 days wouldn't be bad at all! I thought it was more like 5 on average, so that's a pleasant surprise. I'd definitely rest a lot easier knowing that my MINI didn't incur any damage during transit; just me being pessimistic. Excuse my ignorance, but I'm assuming the VDC is right at the port? Wouldn't wanna have to wait on yet another carrier just to get it there.

I believe the Aida is docked in Halifax now: http://www.portofhalifax.ca/english/...tusReport.aspx
with a departure time for NY of 4:30pm. Right on Schedule to come in to NY on Thursday.

Again, just an impression I've picked up somewhere on NAM, but I think the VDC is in New Joisey. Not far, but not right there either. MINI's are quite cosmopolitan. (That's why they're popular at cocktail parties)

WW's website just updated the Aida's status as departed Halifax for NY. At this rate I'll have my Mini in another week or so. And my MA told me I should expect it around the first snowfall ...
