Uggh, my mini was out of production weeks ago, and finally updated on the site as 'en route' on 8/27. The VIN is not showing up on the WW site, so it is possibly being shipped by another carrier???? Anyone else in the same boat ? (pun intended)

Gahhh, yea that's no fun - and especially seeing now that at least one fellow week 35er made it on... :impatient BUT at least the Aida sails in only 2 more days, so as long as I make it onto that all is well. Although I know sometimes vehicles can sit at the port for over a week, with any luck it being there for 4 days will be enough time to get it loaded.

Ahh, go to the website for Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics which is www.2wglobal.com

The 3rd tab from left is "Customer Centre". It's a pull-down tab; select 'cargo tracking'. On the cargo tracking page, look at the "Track By" selections on the right side, and click "auto cargo". Put your VIN in the Cargo ID box and click the track button. If you're on their ship, it should come up eventually. mine did not show up until just before they loaded the ship. Good Luck Beijing66.

WOW, so after all that complaining I just checked the WW site to see if it already had my MINI booked for the Aida and turns out it DID make onto the Patriot after all, wooooottttttt! It's weird because my VIN definitely isn't in that PDF file a fellow NAM user posted but in entering it on the site it shows that my vehicle was booked on 8/31, arrived at the port/terminal that same day and was loaded onto the vessel yesterday afternoon. I figured since the Patriot was scheduled to depart yesterday that my MINI making it to the port that late would impede its ability to be loaded but I guess not :-D

Sorry for the slow response to your question above, Msteadman. I've been working like heck to clean out the garage. It's an uphill battle, but I'm determined to have an indoor spot for my MINI to sleep. In other news, my wife is in shock that I'm actually cleaning out the garage, after years of procrastination.

In answer to your question, mine got received, book and loaded on the same dates as yours. Glad you made it aboard.

Hooray. I had a feeling you wouldn't get left on the dock, waving your hankie at the Patriot. Often, the best trips are the last minute ones, right??

Yep, me too. 15 hours and counting. I have the grossest garage evah. Only the massive amounts of spider-webs keep it standing. I figure I'll be spending a lot of time out there so, naturally it will stay clean this time. Yes? I have a whole list of things to occupy myself with while I wait for that ship. The garage was numero uno.

No garage cleaning for me. It will be nice to have my car (the mini) and my motorcycle fit into the garage at the same time

No problem at all; well at least having the garage to clean will keep you pretty busy during the wait! But AWESOME, sooo happy my MINI is gonna be on it's way and SOON.

Thanks T-POD, much appreciated. Now I am confused. According to the packing order that I saw yesterday (a PDF file), my car did not make it to the Patriot. But WW website shows that it was actually loaded on the Patriot on September 1st. What's going on?

Also, I heard some people mentioning that the Patriot's destination is Charleston, SC, but how come according to the WW website it is New York? Do we know when it will arrive in New York?

Glad I could be of help with that question! To the others, my MINI also didn't show up on that PDF file but did in fact make it onto the Patriot. My guess is yours may have only been loaded on the day of departure (as was mine) and the booking lists are constantly updated as more MINI's are loaded on. Lastly, the Patriot's destinations are New York, Baltimore, Charleston and Brunswick - it all depends on where you're located. For example in tracking my MINI the WW site shows that the Patriot's destination is New York, as with me being in PA that is the closest port and VDC. On the other hand if you ordered from and are taking delivery at a dealer in the South your destination would most likely be Charleston.

!! After being told by ASK-MINI that my MSC was completed on 8/29 and relentless, carpal-tunnel-inducing checking on the WW site, I finally made it onto the Topeka, departing 9/5, arriving Port Hueneme, CA, 9/24.

Here's a google maps photo of what the dock looks like. I don't know how old this image is nor which ship it is.

It is a bit outdated as from what I read about the port, there are actually two "storage garages" not just the one that shows in the pic. So most Mini's are in covered areas well awaiting a ship........unless you get lucky and have accomidations on the top floor.

Hi - I made it onto the AIDA as well. - Watched it leave Southampton last evening, and this morning it was still visible just heading west off screen on AISLive in the sothwest approach. Anyone have any luck finding her on Sailwx?

WOOT, so in checking the latest status of the Patriot it is most definitely half way there and seems to be making quite good headway. And Automated Ask MINI has FINALLY updated to show my MINI as in transit, so yay to that as well!

It most surely is getting close! Just keeping my fingers crossed that my MINI makes it fast through the VDC... If I can get my baby by the 20th I'll be TOO happy OL has actually updated to En Route as well, so woohoo MINI.
