Re: Thank you for your notes and making me feel welcome!

I just wanted to say thanks for making me feel welcome in the Mini world. I haven't talked to many Mini owners as mine is one of three in Leadville (that I know of). Mine is a regular Mini, hyper blue with "wide" bonnet stripes. It is not just my first Mini but my first new car, ever. So it was quite an experience. My husband and I both like british cars, so we also own an MGB, that only comes out on nice days. But it is fun to see both the Mini and the MG side by side in the driveway! My Mini gets lots of looks up here especially in the winter months, from people who just cannot believe it would stay on the road in this much snow. I guess it does look pretty silly out amongst all the 4X4 trucks...combine that with my 100 lb. golden retriever slobbering all over the back windows, it has to be a sight! Thanks again for letting me be a part of the Mini world...

Welcome!

I'm assuming that you have dedicated winter tires for, well, the winter season?

You're welcome. But we're only like that at first, so you lower your guard.

I have an MGB also! What year is yours? Mine is a "modified for autocrossing now in storage awaiting restoration" 1975.

I'm the original owner too!

Welcome from So Cal and another British car lover.

We have a 58' MGA, a 71' Morris Minor Traveller, and a 67' Morris Minor Traveller (my daily driver).. We've had our share of MGB's in the past too -
