Hi everyone.... I got my MINI in Feb but just found this site. I have a Red Cabriolet S with a big Ham antenna on it. (in fact 2 of them). Some extras but more to come. I have had many autos, some of them much faster and a lot of them more expensive but none more fun to drive. Been around cars a long time, even owned a 4 wheel drive shop for many years but you are only as young as you feel. My wife ask me if I was going through a second childhood and I told her "I am not through the first one yet". You have to grow old but you never have to grow up. Storm Chaser...

Welcome, funny how we seem to find the fun/great cars to drive.

Enjoy your MINI and enjoy NAM. My wife encouraged me to buy my MCS, so what can I say, 3rd childhood, perhaps.

Good to hear from someone who has owned what sounds like fun cars. (there is a thread: what cars have you owned too lazy to search for you)

You chase tornados?

Welcome to NAM.

Hi 89AKurt; 2 E Jags, 425hpvette (65), sunbeam Tiger, 27T Bucket W/big 305 hp Chev. 350 hp Scout, 400 hp Jeep CJ7, 406 Ford, 50 Ford flat head hopped up was my first car. There were a few more. I am an Ex fighter pilot and like the fast stuff. I do chase some tornados but mostly spot them and report to the Emerg. center or the TV. Thanks for answering, and asking. Storm Chaser.

Welcome to NAM!!!

I haven't been here long, but I'm learning fast about all the Mini info and have met some great people along the way.

I love the comment about not getting through your first childhood as of yet. I'll have to tell the DH that one. He's always had me jumping into something from 4x4ing with a Ford Bronco, moving into the Jeep thing, playing with jet skis, getting muddy with quads, and the most recent selling the Jeep for garage space to purchase his new toy, a 2007 Ford Shelby Cobra GT500. We've done all of the listed as family fun, so we're now adding the Mini for just another path to adventure.

Enjoy your ride. With a forum name like Storm Chaser I guess I should add to ride safely.
