What a first drive home
What a first drive home
Hello! I've been reading this site for a while, anticipating picking up my new Cooper. Last Wednesday, I picked up an '03 Cooper, from a pal in Calgary. The wife and I spent Friday, Saturday & Sunday driving it from Calgary to Bowmanville (Toronto Area). What a great drive of ~3400km, and what a perfect car for it! We're amazed at how comfortable it was, and how well it handled in the high winds. The roads in Lake Superior Park were tailor made for this car, what a thrill.
A few details on the car;
~52,000km at delivery
Indi Blue
Sunroof
Aero Kit w/ black grille
17" 'S' Wheels
Heated Seats
I also own a 2005 smart fortwo. The smart community is great, and we're quite active in it. I look forward to seeing how the passion level compares with the 'big' car.
Attached is a picture of our car in front of 'Corner Gas', which is actually in Rouleau, Saskatchewan.

Welcome. I'll be cruising through Canada coming back from Alaska in July. Different roads and a different car-same country though.
