Yes, you won't find that anywhere that I know of. It was done as a favor for me.

Depending on the situation dyno normally runs about $100 per hr

Here's a copy of the Dyno Sheet with the preliminary tune. Curious to see what happens when we fiddle with timing and smooth out the fuel maps . Still not sure why we're only making 2-3 HP in the last 1000 RPM's. Our thoughts are a slipping belt, or possibly the cam is running out of steam.

Are the thin blue lines the "before-tune" runs?

Looks great.

We stopped data logging after about 10 runs, but IAT's were fairly consistant at 40º C (~100º F or about 22º above ambiant). We cooled the car down between runs (As it takes 4-5 minutes to flash the car) and had a small fan on the IC, with a larger fan on the whole front of the car.

Unfortunately we didn't have anything to do high speed data logging while on the dyno, so we had to cope with low refresh rate and gather what data we could.

More than likely we will have high speed data logging capabilities for the next dyno session.

Yes the lower numbers are obviously baseline .

We actually got lower numbers when we first ran the car, but the dyno run shown is representative of the "Best" baseline (We ran 2 baseline runs).

Thats weird the dip thing when you think it is an 06 car so in theory should have one of the later map version in it.

At least you're getting there with it, must be nice to know there's more to come.

Is there going to be a way to get the tune without having to go to CA or Helix? A tune for those of us with the head and less agressive exhaust systems would be nice.

Yea, that dip has always been there, no idea what's causing it, something deep in the software i'd guess.

Jan,
I live in the Atlanta area and am getting the head from Way. Not that many non-unichip options here.(as far as I know) I currently have the JCW flash

We have a very successful tuning day in Philly the last couple of days. Big gains in the tuning. We have some RMW heads in the Atlanta area we can set up a day for me to fly in and tune them

We will be available to do tunes on other Non RMW cars also.

HORSEPOWER!

Helix has dyno'd over 700 Mini's on their dyno
before the RMW head only 1 had EVER pulled over 200whp that had an M45 on it as it's only power adder. That particular car had everything on it including solid rockers etc. The cars that broke the 200whp+ barrier had pulley, RMW head and exhaust.

I can tell you there is one fast GP out there now... I think he is being quiet about this as there is a track day coming

the wall of fame has been re-written
