Lowering springs with stock struts/shocks or lowering struts/shocks?
My 2022 F56 Oxford had about 500 miles on it when I put it away for the winter. It's coming out of storage around April 1st and my first 2022 mod is going to be lowering springs to close up the wheel gap.
I've lowered several vehicles and I've always remembered that the recommendation is to never install lowering springs if you're using the stock struts/springs. The reasons I've heard have to do with strut/shock travel and the possibility of a really bouncy ride. I was into VW Passats for a while and those have a horrible bouncy ride when lowering springs are used with stock struts/shocks.
Is anyone on here running H&R sport springs on their stock struts/shocks? If so, I'd like to know what you think of the ride quality. Also, for those of you that have gone with a lowering specific strut/shock like the Blistein B8 kit, I'd be interested in what you think of your ride quality, too.

A buddy has a 2019 F56 with H&R springs on stock struts, and the ride is sporty, but does have that underdamped ride quality. When he gets the cash in hand, he’ll be better Bilstein B8s for it. Personally, I wouldn’t get lowering springs without getting the B8s.
Yeah, doing both springs and struts/shocks at the same time makes sense to avoid having to do it prematurely later on when the stock struts/shocks finally fail. I should just do it all at once and get it over with. I'll probably be happier with the ride quality, too.
