FS: 15" Spare Tire/Wheel

Schultze has the Sport Package, so he's wearing 16" shoes. As a result, I don't need the spare tire that came from the factory, so I'm offering it here.

Hubby found out this morning that the spare is $135.00, so he doesn't want me to sell it. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

$35.00 + shipping (local pickup ok, too!)

For your convenience, I accept Paypal--non-cc Paypal preferred. If you need to pay via credit/debit card through Paypal, I ask that you pay the fees (2.9% + .30).

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
A word of friendly advice from someone who's been in your position. Even though you may have the 16" runflats on Schultze now, you may want to replace the runflats with regular tires later for better ride and performance.

I plan on getting a second pair of non-RFs in a few months, but the spare is a 15". When I get the non-RFs, I'm going to carry a Slime Repair Kit.

I dont know if this is the right place for this....

So if you get a cooper (R56) and get the 16" wheels, you get runflats, a jack, a kit, and a 15" spare tire?

I assume that the 15" spare is completely worthless with the 16" wheels and i also assume that the place where the 15" spare sits will not allow for a 16"...or would it? maybe it would. more rim, less tire....

Not sure about R56...Schultze is an R50 made towards the end of the production of the R50 (10/20/06 to be exact), but yes, I received the 16" RFs, a jack, and a 15" spare tire. Not sure what the "kit" is that you mentioned.

I don't plan on carrying a 16" spare; I usually have stuff in the boot & if I swapped out the spare, I'd have to try to fit the flat tire in the boot because it won't fit where the spare is stored.

Please send me a PM so that I can mark you as having 2nd dibs.

When you send the PM, be sure to include your zipcode.

I'm taking the tire/wheel to work tomorrow to package it & weigh it so that I can provide shipping quotes.

Thanks for your interest.

No need to worry about the size of the spare tire. All of the wheel tire combinations have the some outside rolling diameter. As you said, more rim, less tire. A 15" spare will work just fine with any factory wheel and tire setup. The only thing to watch out for is that 15" spare might not work if you've upsized your brake package.

Anyone know if the spares from the R53 fit over the larger R56 MCS brakes?
