Jason,

Try: peterm@marcor.ca

He can probably set you up as a wholesale account knowing you're a business.

They are a distributor.

Alain, you're my hero! You have no idea how long I've been looking for a CDN Dist. for these. Funny thing is, I've actually dealt with Marcor before and had no idea they repped TDR.

Thanks so much!

Cheers,
Jason.

Thanks for the link. I actually priced them out there previously as well. Kinda pricey.

Cheers,
Jason.

Anyone know what the difference is between the Pro Race 1 and the Pro Race 1.2?

Cheers,

I think I found a way to get these a little cheaper thru my company if I can place an initial order for a few sets. I will have to order at least 3 sets though to get an account set up. I am wanting 1 set for myself so let me know if any of the rest of you would be ready to buy a set in the next week for sure and I will try to get it put together. I will have prices by monday (maybe sooner).
Also, in case you want an oddball color, I do have a paint booth as well as a powder coating operation so any color you can imagine is possible.
thanks,
Clint

Let's see how the pricing pans out and we'll see what happens. I'm still trying to figure out the difference between the PR1 and the PR1.2.

Looking for 17" White.

Cheers,
Jason.

I've seen these wheels in black with the red lettering which looks really good. Im not really a fan of black wheels unless you can see where the rim ends and the tire begins (i.e. polished lip, colored letters...). I was just wondering if they came in black with some blue lettering or was the red lettering I saw just a custom job?

From the UK? Ouch. Isn't there a US based distribution center in Ontario, California? At least that's what their website says.

Sure I can buy the TDR's from Outmotoring, but I would rather get a package or something. The Tirerack price for a set of Kosei K1's with AVS-ES100 rubber comes to my door almost $250 cheaper than I can do the TDR's.

I just like the look of the TDR's better.

According to Brian Goodwin:

"New version of the Team Dynamics Pro Race 1...with the spokes just a little more withdrawn from the face for the spec guys actually rubbing their neighbors!"

I can definitely see the need, I have a set of Pro Race 1's and the spokes definitely protrude beyond the face of the wheel.

ok , finally got some prices.

monza 17" set of 4 = $649.

monza 18" set of 4 = $799.

pro race 1 or 1.2 17" set of 4 = $649.

pro race 1 or 1.2 18" set of 4 = $799.

shipping wil be via DHL and run approx. $50 to $60 per set drop shipped to your door.

center caps and hub centric rings included.
let me know if you have any questions.
thanks,
Clint

Are these prices based on a minimum amount of orders and do the numbers get better with higher quantities?

Also, are these drop shipped from the US or overseas? Just curious if there's a chance of customs duties upon delivery.

Sorry for all the questions.

Thanks for your help. To be honest, these prices are very close to normal retail, especially if you factor in that they probably don't come with center caps and/or hub centric rings.

Jason.

I will check today on the rings and center caps. They are shipped from USA so no customs.
These are the prices until I can move at least 12 sets. I thought the prices were reasonable but where did you even find someone selling them to get a retail figure?? Thats the main reason I got into doing this is that I have been wanting some TD wheels and really have not had any luck sourcing them. I thought I got lucky when I found them on the Outmotoring site but then found out he doesnt stock them.
Also, I talked to several "dealers" that sell them but since they dont stock them I was told to expect a 6 week wait to get them from UK.
I dont know if I would ever sell 12 sets anyway, I just wanted to get a good deal on some for me and seen several people on here interested and figured I could help them out as well.

I will post here later today when I get ring and center cap info.
thanks,
Clint

Please don't get me wrong, I totally appreciate the effort you have put in thus far. These do seem to be tricky wheels to find, but they can be found. Even if there is a waiting period, it's not likely that most would be installed until spring 6 weeks from now anyway. Well, unless you're blessed enough to live below the snow line

I was really hoping that as a group buy we could effect a price around $150 per wheel including cap and ring. Maybe that was just wishful thinking.

I may still be interested. Let us know when you find out about the hardware.

Thanks again,
Jason.
