Looks like you have to give up the rear cup holder. Too bad. That's the one I usually use.

It is gone (the cupholder) but I was always a spazz using that one. The *new* one installed at the radio/HVAC area is what I use. I was surprised at how nice this thing is in my hand. -Pete

the price is way to high but one of the better looking ones that i have seen,

Looks nice but I got my leather armrest/storage one from Mini Mania for $159.00.

You can still use the rear cupholder, but for a smaller cup even after attaching the bracket into the cupholder. Besides, I like storage and an adjustable sliding armrest.

great armrest

I have to admit its a lot of money for an armrest. But its what a Mini SHOULD come with from the factory. So you loose the rear cupholder...who sits back there anyway. It matches the interior perfectly and installs in 45 seconds!!

I saved the best for last, I'm almost 300 pounds and lean on it every time I get in and out. And no I haven't been paid to say any of this. This item looks factory and is BUILT like a factory piece. I will try to take any photos for anyone that asks, but I cant post her because I have no photo hosting service, just emailing

Um....if you guys think the price of that bad boy is too high, maybe you ought to check out the price for the "factory installed, OFFICIAL MINI" model. I believe it is right at the $500 mark or pretty darn close to it.
