Stage 1 Pre Wash...Prevent Damage from Hand Washing...

Stratmosphere has launched a new product called Stage 1 Pre Wash. Our new product helps you to remove dirt from your finish BEFORE you hand wash your car. Hand Washing is a big cause of swirls and scratches (as much as we hate to admit it). Check it out and grab a free sample or order a bottle for only $7.99. -Pete, Stratmosphere

umm.. in the video, they show one side being just hosed down, and the other being sprayed with the stage one, and then hosed down. stage one side is definitely cleaner after spray down.

the video would be more impressive (to me) if one side is treated with stage 1, and the other side being treated with a bottle of water and car wash liquid mixed together and sprayed on pre-hosing.

I guess what you are saying is that the non-treated side should also be pre-treated with something. What we are saying is that no one does that. And it they were to do that, a product like Stage 1 would be perfect. Most people just rinse and wash. We are trying to show that by just rinsing with a hose prior to washing leaves a lot of dirt on the car that will get wiped into the finish. -Pete

Forgot to answer Wenzor. The left side of the car in the video has been only sprayed with water like everyone does when you hand wash. What happens is that most of the dirt is still on your car and you are rubbing it in. If you use Stage 1, over 1/2 of the dirt is gone so that you aren't rubbing it in during your hand wash. You can get a free sample by paying the shipping if you want to prove it to yourself. -Pete

Interesting product. I do what I consider a pre-soak on the car to hopefully loosen the dirt from the paint. Especially on the rear where it can get thick. I rinse the car and let it wait a while before trying to rinse more dirt off the car before I start washing it. This by no mean gets the dirt completely off so I may take the offer of a free trial with shipping just to check it out.
