TCE Front and Rear brake kit combo: $1300

All,

Here's the TCE intro promo:

Combo purchase of FRONT and REAR kit- $1300 base price. Nomally $1514.
Applies to either Road Race or Street Sport base kit.

Added options per complete order: (Reg. price)
Gas slot $65 ($110)
Drill $200 ($250)
Drill and slot $200 ($250)
Zinc $60 ($130)

Example: the Silver S shown in the other thread with both kits, drill/slot and zinc total $1560. Normally $1894.

Details; Orders must be placed and prepaid by July 31st. Shipping charges not included. Other options by special request and subject to additional cost. Wheel spacers for the front kit included, Street Sport kit guaranteed to fit R wheel. Can assist in other clearance evaluations. Orders to be filled at the end of the order deadline in a group buy manner. (i.e. to make it work for me it's volume work on my end also, thus kits will ship after the offer expires and at one time) Cancelations subject to 20% restocking fee. Credit card, paypal, or personal check. No COD. Out of country orders require substantial shipping deposit, usually shipped USPS.

This level of pricing will not be offered again. Seldom are kits on sale given the already below industry pricing level. Referenes available if so desired, I'm not taking anyones money and headed to Hawaii....

A portion of this sale will be donated to NAM to support the MINI community.

Tell your friends!

what offset wheels can be used with these kits or would it be specific to the individual wheel? i like the fact that the kit works with the stock wheels.

It's really not 'offset'. It's spoke design.

These fit under the R90 wheel with the supplied .065" plate.

Other wheels of similar or better spoke design will clear with ease.

You'll need aprox 1 1/8" from the hub face of the wheel to the spokes. Looking at it from the inside. (the depth of the spoke pattern relative to where the wheel bolts up) The R90 has about 1" for example if you lay a flat edge on the wheel hub face and measure down.

If you need more info, give me a ring; 480-967-7901

Five days left!

Only five days remain to get your order in and save on this special offer!

$1300 for a front AND rear kit for the MINI is as good as it gets. I challenge any other supplier to meet this offer for comparable value. Don't let the low price fool you, I'll put this product up against ANY other kit on the market.

If you're even thinking about brakes now or in the future, save between $200 and $350 NOW.

Three days and counting!

Down to three days to get in on this one.

You're not going to come into a better offer any time soon. Don't be kickig yourself when you get passed under braking at the next track day just because HE picked up the phone!

************************************
Things are finally happening. For a while I was all but giving up hope that people really wanted a brake kit for the car!

*************************************
Update: this just in to the wheel and tire forum-

I have recently installed an upgraded front and rear brake system on my 2003 Cooper S. The system was designed by Todd Cook at TCE here in the Phoenix area. I've driven the car with the new system for a couple of weeks now in order to see if it works as I hoped it would.

I'm an SCCA Club Racer and Todd was my race engineer. We did well together so I didn't have any reluctance to ask him about designing an upgraded system for my car. I wanted more track like performance than the cars stock system provided. Specifically, a more responsive system, a little bit better stopping capability, better cooling and much more consistent performance under heavy use. I also wanted a lighter system. Good looks weren't critical but I asked for the drilled rotors, zinc coated. When all was said and done I wanted to be sure the system was also entirely compatible with daily driver type use.

That's why I went to Todd and TCE. I needed a system that would accomplish all of these things in a balanced way. I needed an engineered system that didn't cost a ton of money. I did not need a bunch of fancy bolt on stuff that put my head through the windscreen every time I went to the brake pedal.

I'm posting this today because I've had a chance to test the system under a lot of different driving conditions. I'm impressed - VERY impressed. Everything is comfortable in day to day use but when the driving gets spirited the car works like my race car. It's hot here but even with the heat the brakes don't fade. Stopping is a function of how you push the pedal. Push hard and it happens right now. Push a little easier and you can do relatively high speed cornering all day long.

My car is silver. When you see it with the drilled silver disks it looks pretty serious.

I'm not being paid to say these things and I wouldn't say anything unless I'd tested the system and really liked it.

My thinking was that if a proven race engineer - someone I trusted - couldn't figure out a brake system like I wanted - nobody could. It's also a cheaper system than anything else I considered. For me - it couldn't be better.

Final 24 hours

We're entering the final 24 hours to get in on this low, intro special price.

I'm puzzled that the response has not been greater. Five pages plus of comments from those who are looking for just this very package. You asked; TCE delivered. I'll be in the shop tomorrow until only about 3pm West. After that it's full boat retail.

Thank you- Offer now closed.

"Thank you" to everyone who called, PM'd or emailed on this special offer.

For those who purchased an additional thanks and be certain your business is in good hands. With the combined purchases I expect to have things shipping out within 10-14 days.

For those who missed out on this pricing, product is still and will remain available at regular price to meet your needs when you're ready. Future orders will usually fill in 5-7 days when inventory is 'up'.

Order Status UPDATE 8/13

To those who have kits on order;

I picked up the rotors from the zinc plating shop about an hour ago. Nice, bright parts!

I expect to have the final run of hats and the caliper order in hand by Tuesday.

Shipping will be on Wednesday the 18th.

Sorry for a couple days delay, seems Wilwood was short and calipers, and frankly; I was short on hats to meet the demand....As they say "it's all good" after I get over the hump of filling the initial orders, inventory will be on hand for quicker turnaround.
