Has anyone put these on their MINI ?

I like the looks of these.. They're cast though, so I'm wondering if they are sturdy enough. I may still wait and go with SSR Comps, because I would prefer to buy a set of strong & light forged wheels.

These aren't very heavy either...
I contacted the guys at Edge Racing, and they said the 16inch version weighs 14 pounds.

If your concerned with weight and strength make sure to check out the Volk TE-37s...16x7 is like 11lbs and very strong - while i've heard of SSRs bending i've never once heard of a volk bending. Mini-Madness sells them but they don't sell all the sizes and they seem to be a bit high....you can find them cheaper if you search the net. CarBoy in Texas sells them cheaper.

Not a bad looking wheel, but the only color I see is carbon...not my fave, especially when it's ALL carbon, not even a brite rim. I wonder if the only diff btwn the Apex 2 and the Apex is the finish options.

Thanks for posting the link, kurvhugr.

I hadn't heard of the FLIK brand before, and am wondering if these are good quality wheels.

I struggled with this VERY question for several weeks.

I looked at Team Dynamics, Flik, and Exel before going with RS Racing F1 wheels. The Flik wheels were a little more expensive than the other two, and the Exels were not in stock (and backordered for weeks).

I like the look of the Apex wheels because they have the polished lip, and the all-black is a little too 'track' for me. Do yourself a favor and look at

Wheelmax
Speed and Style

On the other hand, if your budget allows for the SSR Comps, why consider the heavier Flik?

Here are the RS Racing wheels I eventually selected:

Happy Hunting!
