I have Hawk ceramics and love'em. No issues so far. I tied off BOTH my sensors - I don't need no stinkin' consumable sensor to tell me when I need brake pads...

I did the same with ceramics.
I can't remember if there was a slot for the sensor, but I did not want to use it anyway. Just something else to replace.
Keep an eye on the pads and the sensor is not necessary.

You are right, Hawk pads have no cut-outs for them. Great pads and I don't have any trust with an idiot light when it comes to brakes, I'll check them myself.

My Hawk Ceramics didn't have a place for the rear sensor either. Not a problem. Love the brakes!

Yes the front pads of Hawk Ceramic's have a slot for the sensor. Not on the rear pads though. Just use a zip tie bundle the rear sensor out of the way.

What kind of sensor would you use? I know if the brake sensor light comes on, the sensor needs replacing...Will an OEM sensor from Mini work with Hawk pads?

Yes the factory OEM brake sensor that is on your car will work with the Hawks.
