Alex- is this a close out on those certain sizes or the S03's in general?

cause i was looking at 245/35/19's and 275/35/19's and they were not
on sale. (not that i need a set right now.... got that brand new rear set
with new GT3's in my garage that i bought from you. )

The pricing is size specific - as the roll the S03 out of exsistance and bring in the RE01R and Re050A in its place.

hummm.... i don't mind the Re050a's but i preferr the looks of the S03's.
What is the weight comparison between the Re050a vs S03?

Too bad about the S-03s but are we expecting that the RE01R or RE050A are any better tires for the MINI than the S-03s? Alex- care to help us?

A comparison

S-03
205/55-16 $128 220 Treadwear AA traction 24 pounds
225/45-17 $105 220 Treadwear AA traction 25 pounds

RE01R (extreme performance summer) (great tirerack tests)
205/55-16 $140 140 treadwear A traction 26 pounds 24.9" tire diameter
225/45-17 $168 140 treadwear A traction 26 pounds 25" tire diameter

RE050A (max performance summer)
205/55-16 $79 special 140 treadwear A traction 24 pounds
225/45-17 $95 special 140 treadwear A traction 24 pounds

Alex,

I'm noticing the S03 is available in 15" (205/55 R15 and 205/50 R15), but as of now the RE01R and Re050A aren't. Do you know if they plan to include 15" sizing in the future?

thanks, minihune... dang, im not too thrilled about this move, Alex.

cheaper fine, but less treadwear, no weight saving and the tread
design doesn't look that great on either one of them.

those new tires better be quiet.... otherwise I don't see much
improvement from the "old" S03's.
