I need to get a new set of track tires don't want to go to R-compounds yet. Trying to decide between

Hankook Ventus R-S2 Z-212 205-45-16

Falken Azenis RT615 205-40-16
I am also up for any suggestions.

I just got Yokohama Advan R048's and have done two autocross's.

loved them the first time, very, very good - second time was 100 degrees F so the tires were probably smoking hot, but did not have any way to cool them down. Grip was not good at the second, much hotter autocross.

anyways... just a thought - check em out

 

I think it's a toss-up between the Hankooks and Falkens. I use 215/45R16 on 7.5" wide wheels. The Falkens were / are out of stock in that size, so I went with the Hankooks. I don't have enough experience to say which of the two is better. Sorry.
