Here is a pic of my new Konig Absolutes (Opal finish), 18inch, 45 offset. Tires
are Nitto Extreme 215/35/18s - unbelievable improvement in grip.

That looks sweet. Looks like you could have put on some 19's. Do you plan to lower your Mini at all? A little lower and that will look awesome. How much did that set you back?

The wheel/tire package mounted and balanced was a little over $1500 delivered to the door in 3 days. Nothing against Tirerack, they simply didn't offer Konig. I've been very impressed with fit and finish and the car just sticks. I'm probably going to have to wait until I can afford adjustable coilovers before I lower it, I'm not interested in "shaving' out any of the fenderwells just fit springs unless I am convinced the drop will be very modest with no threat of rubbing.

Kevin,

L king G d, there, now all you need to do is lower it, and once the calipers are painted, it will look sweeeeeet.

Hey, Kevin,
Your wheels and tires look great! Congratulations!

I don't think you need to worry about rubbbing with the 45mm offset and 35 profile, I'll bet you could run H&Rs without any rub problems at all. Of course, coilovers would be nicer...

Cheers,
