Just took some pictures of the new wheels and tires on the car today. I konw others have asked about what the BBS RK's look like on a mini, as far as I know, only other car with pics on the web is the Grassroots motorsports mini team.
Info: Purchased from tirerack (great people!)
tires: YOKO ES100 205x45 R17

Front wheel, shows a lot of brake rotor.

Rear wheel (can almost see the madness swaybar back there)

NFO-
Look sweet yes. Cost much? Enough to make me at least feel broke. You are right about the springs, as soon as get money again, i have a date with a couple hours of labor and a spring compressor.

As a side note, it was fun the first drive on the tires, they were still greasy and the back end slid way far out around a corner with little to no help from me for once.

Those look AWESOME! Jive the yoko's 150 miles and you'll be rockin. There is a mold release agent thats very slick on any tire when there brand new, its burns off quickly.

Hey Carl,

The wheels look great! I think you just can't go wrong with BBS quality and classic style. How different is the ride? Any change in harshness without the runflats? Got your fix-a-flat?

Cheers,

James

Chandler, you work for Lumex?! COOL! We use your products all the time at Motorola.

Love the RK's, great stuff! What wheels did you have before, and do you notice a difference in ride/handling/accel?

Cheers,
Ryan

Ok, tires all broken in, and heres an update on how they are. The non runflats are very noticable, turn in is not nearly as sharp as it was with the runflats, but it is however much more consistant, and constant of a feel, i like it better. I have not noticed any change in acceleration from the lighter wheels, oh well.

The yoko's are excellent in wet weather, cornering and acceleration are above average in my opinion.
