BF Goodrich G-Force Sport?

Need to get new shoes for JIMI and am thinking about the BF Goodrich G-Force Sport tires. I've read good reviews other places, but was wondering if any Mini owners knew anything of these.

great

I have them and now have about 30k.
I really like them.
I have done autoX and track days.
Had Yoko es 100s before and they wore out in 10K and were not good (IMO)

When iI have to replace will buy again OR get the KWD next they are 1 step better for handleing.

Well, we will learn together. I just ordered 4 for my 325i from my local Discount Tire. They matched the Discount Tire Direct price and should be here Tuesday or Wednesday . . . The MINI will be ready for tires in about a year. If I like 'em on Mama car, I'll get 'em for the MINI.

I have them for summer tires. Don't race but still like corners. They stick like glue on dry pavement seem ok on wet, but I'm not into hard cornering on wet roads.

I do think they are noisier as I get more miles on them (about 7000 now). Just a bit louder drone on some highways - but nothing dramatic. They are very quiet in corners, no squealing.

They are wearing well, are relatively inexpensive, and are absolutely no good in snow.

Overall, I really like them and would buy again assuming the noise doesn't keep getting louder.

I have 'em on 15x7 wheels and am well-pleased. Stick very well, and best of all, when they let loose, they go gradually and give you plenty of warning. They are not as strong as some in the wet, but not bad. They do make a drone noise, but it isn't bad, although I only have about 5k and I guess it could get worse. They're wearing well, and I'd buy them again. In fact, I'm thinking about getting some 195/55's for my holies.

I have the KDW's 215/40/17 and I think they are great. I have done one AUTOX on them and really like the way they bite in the corners.

KDWs (225/45/16) - love 'em. Nice and sticky (for street tires). Good dry and wet. I like them almost as much as my S-03s. They're supposed to be a bit noisy, but thanks to exhaust and intake changes I can't hear them at all.

I've read reviews on both the G-force Sport and the KDW2's, with good reviews on the G-force and mixed (high and low) on the KDW's. The KDW2's also cost a bit more, and I am on a budget and I want something that will last a while; not specifically for autoX or the like.

I'm getting Avon M550 (not M500) this week. TireRack reviews rate them a little beter than the BFGs. I'll let you know how they work out.

My last set of tires were the BFGoodrich G-Force Sports 215/45/17. I now run the KDW2's, 205 sidewall. The G-Force Sports had a very strong sidewall and were much sturdier and quieter overall. I did not autocross on them, but about 25 round trips on The Dragon probably counts. I rotated them frequently and the tires gripped incredibly good when they had about 1/4 tread until I relplaced them. The KDW2's look so much more aggressive, but I now think they are actually a worse performance tire in the dry. I am trying to time my treadwear to be optimal for the MOTD 2006. My best car buddy has a RSX-S that he occasionally autocrosses. He had the KDW2's and when they were about gone, they gripped like hell, so thats what I'm aiming for.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm going with these and also got Discount Tire to match the lowest I found online.

I've got the KDW2s and I love them. I've got almost 10k miles on them and I love the way they grip. They're getting a little noisy, but I'm trying to make them last until after the Dragon

How do these tires compare to Kumho's performance offerings such as the ECSTA SPT, ECSTA Supra 712 and ECSTA MX? Does anyone have first hand experiance who can compre them? I'm looking for a performance street tire to be used occasionally for autocross.
