If it's not offered here, it's (1) not a current BBS offering, (2) not determined by BBS to be a wheel compatible with the MINI. There are other (discontinued) BBS wheels that may fit. See Tire Rack. But they're not recommeded by BBS. I corresponded withe BBS tech here in Germany and they won't indorse anything but what's on the website.
I am just curious what wheel on that page is 4x100 18"?
I only saw the 17" CV..
And Stevie B what wheels were ever made 4x100 18" by BBS? I do not care wether they have been endorsed or not

There are 3 BBS wheels in 17" that will fit a MINI: RG-R (17x7), RV-F (17x7) and LM (17x7.5). They are only available from BBS Japan though. BBS does not make any 4x100 wheels in 18" in anywhere. I think the LM will look pretty cool on a MINI.

I was trying like hell to get a set when I lived in Germany because I had a very good BBS hook up, but was never able to. Since they're made in Japan and not in Germany I suspect it was some kind of hold up for TüV approval, but I'm not sure. BBS Germany just kept telling me they were on the way ... then I moved

I'm a big fan of BBS myself as I had the RC, the LMs (19x11) and currently the Magnesium Race wheels on my E36.
The one wheel I really wish is still available are the RS. Any of you guys remember those? This would look awesome on a mini with an agressive offset and the right size tires.

Besides, my point was that every wheel BBS makes that fits the Mini is not listed on BBS Germany's site as you stated.
That's one of the reasons I was trying to get these off the ground

Unforunately no one was interested or at least willing to pay the price for an extremely high quality forged wheel. I posted on quite a few BMW/Mini forums trying to generate more interest, but even the people who expressed interest on the forums never took the time to post on RAC Monolites website so I pretty much gave up. Now RAC Monolites are pressing on with the development of their 3rd or 4th forged wheel design for the M3.

YESS.. that is the one. Truly the perfect size and offset.
I wonder if BBS have a 4x100 magnesium centers.
I can have matching wheels.

The new GT2 is made out of forged aluminum centers which make them stronger than the magnesiums which is definetly a plus. They both use the same outers and inners though as well as the very desireable titanium fasteners.

Mario, I got my info directly from BBS - Motorsport Division. I was actually sponsored by them for a while there and had a pretty good rapport with the head of the motorsport division. Unfortunately he no longer works there. But they were always helpful when I call, even now.
According to their notes, the weight of the forged aluminum CENTER is slightly heavier than the cast magnesium center. Note that this is only for the centers not with the 2 rim halves. The difference is not that much but "technically" they weigh differently.
Different combination of outers and inner rim halves can also vary the weight if you measure them assembled. The outers comes in TA-35, TA-40, and TA-50. and the Inner comes in TI-40 and TI-50. The T stands for Type and the A stands for äußer which is German for Outer. I stands for Inner.
The numbers represents the thickness of the material;
TA-35 is 35mm
TA-40 is 40mm
TA-50 is 50mm
TI-40 is 40mm
TI-50 is 50mm
Obviously, if all else is equal, the thicker the material, the heavier it would be.
So for example, if the forged aluminum wheel is using a TA-35 and TI-40 rim halves while the magnesium wheel is using a TA-50 and TI-50, then with this combination, the aluminum will come out lighter. BUT if both are using the same inner and outer part #s then magnesiums should come out lighter.
This is how I understood it. I'm not an expert on this or anything but I just had to learn all this when I was ordering my wheels and helping a friend out get the new forged aluminum version.
When I ordered mine, the aluminum version wasn't out yet but IF I would get another set again, I would opt for the forged aluminum. I can post more info about their forging process but this is getting too long. I would run the GT2 in my wife's mini but man, they are $$$.
Anyways, hope this info helped.
