I'm about to go to the Starbucks to study all day long. I'll check when I get to my car to see, as I've now put about 1000 miles on. I'll report back :-D.
Don't forget that a 215/45R17 tire will cause your speedometer to be slightly off. Not by much (1.5% or so), but a little. At 60mph on the speedo, you will actually be travelling at 60.9mph.
... but officer, I was only going 95 in a 65 zone... wait 96.425 in a 65 zone...oh darn, I forgot about the 1.5% increase.

Heh - yeah, I know it isn't much... but good to know. It might make the difference, for example, if someone tries to do 79, just keeping it under 80, or 69, just keeping it under 70, etc... the cop's radar will actually show the true speed, which WILL be over that threshold.

I just thought it should be mentioned.
True, but the Speedo is off by a percentage anyway. Manufacturers error on the conservative side by law (they cannot have speedos that read slower than the vehicle is actually moving). On most cars this is anywhere from 2-5% error. So, the 1.5% adjustment should make your speedo more accurate.
I'm thrilled to let you know: no rubbing _whatsoever_, even at the highest articulation, so far. No marks, no damage to the tire. M7 springs and 215/45/17 are perfect together.

Very true. Even with 215/45, I'm about 1-2 mph below radar at 30.
