I prefer the deep dish look of the Hamann's, but the SSR's are nice as well. I'm actually considering the SSR's myself. The weight savings alone make the Hamann's look like cement blocks!

Both are very similar in appearance. If ya want one piece get the SSRs, three? piece Hamanns. You won't go wrong with either.

Maybe they have resolved the problem with the PG4s but HM4 the Hamanns have too little offset for the width. Any lowering and they are guaranteed to rub.

have you considered you could buy two or three sets of SSRs for the price of Hamann PG4s?

Id go for the GT2's. they look sportier and much lighter weight.
I like how they look on that car.

Those Hammans look good as dressup wheels though...

The Hammans are really good looking wheels, but they make better anchors. Go light whatever you do,

I like the Hamann's better, but wouldn't spend the money.

One thing though... you will want to think about why the Gt2's are on closeout at Tirerack and what that means for future availability of the wheel. You might want to use the money saved with the closeout pricing to buy an extra.

That's a very good idea.

And that's what i exactly did when I bought my GT3's for my other car.
bought a spare front. sleeping in my basement for future use (or not).
But it's good insurance when you pay over $4k in wheels/tires.

I like the hamann but the weight is a big problem. Will I be able to feel the difference? I am currently running 15% pulley, GIAC chip, Miltek Header + Catback, Alta CAI.

Yes, the weight IS a big problem. If you are looking to add performance over looks theh the Hammons are NOT the way to go.

If you're really trying to add performance with wheels, how about the Comps instead of the GT2's?

I love the PG4, however, I've heard there are potentially some issues with rubbing on sharp slow speed turns if your MINI is lowered at all. The PG4's are 8 inches wide, which should be taken into consideration.

if you're going for weight savings, go with 16's.

if you're an auto-xer try the 16x7, im a street guy so use 16x7.5's.
